Alisson our goal keeper scout.  ;D

I asked Ali to speak to his brother to see how it goes and how he is doing. Ali spoke to his brother and Ali went training there. We saw a little bit from the training and the games he was playing for the reserves in Brazil.

Had heard his name recently as potentially coming here. No idea how his work visa will work and what the plan is to get him here. When we signed Allan he went on loan for a couple years and eventually sold him.

At 17yo he’s obviously one for the future.

I get that, since he to sign the contract and all that stuff, but is he able to play for us? can he join the academy and train/play with them or does he need to be loaned back to his club (or other club) for a while to meet work visa requirements?

Destroy a 17 year old with no first team experience by throwing him in at the deep end, absolute insanity

Best of luck to the lad. Learning from the best so thats a good start..

On a sidenote, has any goalkeeper ever come through our academy to become a regular first teamer? One or 2 have done ok elsewhere alright
