Didn't watch last friendly, but did we lineup as 4-2-3-1? Gapko, Diaz, Jota and Salah all started.

That's what I think it'll be and what I'd go for.

I'd play MacAllister beside Jones though just for that extra but I'd security and Trent more orthodox.

Jota on the left as he's more disciplined that Diaz defensively and also offers that goal threat inside when Gakpo drops back.

I feel starting Jones in number 6 just makes it a case of outscoring them before we even start... It's so hard to make a starting 11 without a natural 6, maybe a back three with Trent filling in the 6 role?

But last year he tested him in midfield and it looked promising. He's just error-prone as RB bc he cannot defend on a high level, midfield would suit him more. I did not see any preseason games, did he always only play at RB or also in midfield?

He's never once started in midfield to the best if my knowledge.

Let's hope the attack are on their game because we'll be conceding at least a couple here that's for sure!
