I'll be very surprised if this isn't the box midfield. In possession Trent will step in and be a 6 with Macca. Szobo and Gakpo as the 8s and then the front 3. We've seen that in the last couple of pre season games.

Very attacking either way. I wonder if Klopp thinks we're exposed anyway with the lack of a naturally defensive 6, and is going aggressive to try and outscore them.

James and Chillwell absolutely crucial for them so if Trent steps in we need to deal with Chillwell. I hope Trent plays more orthodox today. Very attacking to play Gakpo in MF, Jones will be disappointed but both are pretty attacking options. I think our lineup is better than theirs and fancy us to win.
