We went 3-2 up wih minutes to go and I was screaming at Slot to get Endo the F**k on to shut up shop like every fkn other Team does but nope, never happened and of course we concede a sh*t free kick and then the calamity that happened after.
Yeah. Macca's legs were already rubbery. Should have brought Endo in for the last 10 minutes.

Was thinking the same. Been a bit surprised how little we’ve used him. He’s capable certainly of seeing games out. Gravenberch looked goosed all game tonight. Gonna have to be used in the next 2 with Macca banned for both the derby and girona

Hate the way people think if a player isn't an automatic start then we don't need him.

The fact Arne never uses him basically tells its own story. I love Endo. I believe we need him but its obvious Arne is looking for tools in his midfield that he feels endo does not have.

Good lad and and seems well liked at the club and I hope he can find some first team football next month with a loan or permanent move. Too good to be sat doing nothing.

      In a nutshell.

Good player but just doesn't seem to fit with the boss

Many of the likes of Endo, Tsmikas, Kelleher, Chiesa, Elliott, Bradley, Gomez, Quansah will be needed at some point this season. Many of them already have been and helped immensely.

Some of them tgeur time will come over the coming months but to win a title you need the squad players to hold their own.

We cannot do it with 13 or 14 players. The squad has to stand up to the requirements a long seasons asks of them.

Always gives 100%, fully committed from minute one as per....Apart from the ill judged pass (albeit with an ounce of bad luck with the rebound of his nut) that led to their goal he played really well.

      Easily my MOTM yesterday.

Combative is the best word to describe your typical Endo performance, showed that in abundance last night and you certainly need players like that in your squad, the importance the experienced veterans like Endo and Gomez to help the young players through the game.

In the EFL final last season it was Endo and Diaz, yesterday it was Endo and Gomez.

Nice to see the positivity around Endo. I wish Arne would use him more. You dont captain your country, your club at Stuttgart, and be well regarded by the respected german journos and ex players if you cant play.

Attitude seemed to be spot on last night by all accounts ... playing out of position I believe. Use him more Arne ... he is more than good enough

Such a luxury to have this sort of quality on the bench.

Great attitude, and he can do the Milner role (come on with 10/15 to go against tiring legs).

Starting him though, that's a different matter. He got done (had his pocket picked) in too many big games last season. He's a 31 yo (32 in two months) who came from a relegation threatened side. We thought we were getting the Energizer bunny, he is anything but. His first display at Newcastle where they were all over us until he went off, we wondered if he was really that slow. He was. The athleticism and speed of play in this league is brutal (as were Atalanta when they overran us) and Endo was often in the middle of the crime scene. His first half vs Palace, who again targeted him as they had done at their place, where he started just over 48 hrs after he was run ragged against Atalanta, that will go down as Jürgen's worst team selection in his time at the club. Getting overrun and losing was predictable. The change was made at half time (think it was Dom who came in for him) but with the pressure ramped up at the business end of the season we snatched at a host of chances and couldn't get it back, and the league started to slip from us.

The Gernan league is piss easy in comparison, and can fool us into thinking someone who looks good there can do the same here (Keita another who found the intensity of this league too much). He was an emergency stop gap last summer when we couldn't bring in Caicedo, but really we should have moved on from him this summer. We need a 5th starting option in central midfield alongside Jones, Mac, Dom and Grav. Endo can do the Milner role no question as his fresh legs coming on late cancels out the disparity in athleticism when he starts.

Won two headers at least V that big forward who is about 6" 8 . Just forgot how much he had actually played at CB

Please Arne get shut of Endo this window. Absolute waste of time him being here.

Ideal scenario to bring him on today, especially with his refusal to take arnold off yet slot ignores him. Waste of a squad place.

Get shut and bring a 6 in who you do rate and who we can use to help the team.

Dom mac grav, but then jones and elliott who he doesnt seem too convinced about and not much else. Get back in for Zubimendi.

What’s the point of him being here, only going to be played if we’re in dire straits or it’s the 89th minute. He’s better than that
