With Gomez and now Bradley out maybe it will force Slots hand in playing him more. Wanna see him on the pitch, his attitude alone spurs the crowd and his team mates on. Need to be chanting his name over Nunez

This guy is a hero. Love the way he just comes on, doesn't need any time at all to get stuck in and just chases after people. 

Still yet to put a foot wrong. Love the guy, might not be one of the best players, but F**k me sideways he's reliable, consistent and you know what you're gonna get.

Slot had to play him against Endo last 10 minutes when we conceded late. He had to be introduced too against Utd when we were winning 2-1

Slot learned that we need him so to close the match.

Think at times be gives away silly fouls but today he was clean as a whistle with his tackles and was exactly what was needed

Think we will see him regularly now for 20-30 minutes to go in games we are ahead. Slot knows he needs to use him now.

Might see him start v Newcastle. Surely we cant ask Mac, Grav n Dom to play another 90 mins after just 2 days recovery? Got to start using our squad a bit more.

We say this every week, Arne would probably rather start himself. It's not going to happen. We're in March next week, what makes anyone think he's going to start now 

I think he may well start.

I think Newcastle in midweek is a very tough game for us. If we win it I'll be buzzing but this game comes after an intense run of fixtures for the lads and with it being against good opposition this is going to be hard work.

If we can come through unscathed we go into March playing only one PL game all month. That being Southampton at home.

Tackle on kovacic was my favourite moment of the game

That closer role is tailor made for him. He doesn't have the mobility in this league to start games at his age, but coming on with 20 or less to go is the sweet spot as he is able to go full throttle and exert all his energy into that period and make it very difficult. He could (should) have been used more in this role in a few other games which is something I think Slot would admit. There is Milner similarities in seeing out games. Also reminded of a baseball pitcher Mariano Rivera who came on near the end of games and did similar for the NY Yankees.
