Go watch Endo's MOTM performance as he captained Japan to a 4-1 win over Germany.

      Absolutely brilliant performance.

He's gonna be great for us.

My dad just been reading up about that his performance was described as controlling midfield.

Few performances like that in a red shirt will go down nicely.

The German FA sacked the manager, Hansi Flick. Oddly, he's the first German manager ever sacked.

After a stunning performance against Germany, he is being rested on the bench for their friendly against Turkey.

I’ve yet to see what the fuss is about Endo so far Clint. What have I missed?

I don't think anyone thinks or hopes that he will be the next Ngolo Kante. I think the hope or position of a lot of people (including me) is that he will be a solid No. 6. Nothing too flashy, but someone who will give you a 7/10 most games you play him in that position. Nothing groundbreaking, but good value for your money while you figure out how that position is filled in the longer term.

Will that be what happens? We'll have to wait and see because we didn't see him play enough yet.

At our games, nothing but give him a chance. He is a real bulldog of a player.

He just need to do what he is known for, he needs to remove his anxiety and do his stuff and leave the flashy stuff for others.

Wataru and Gravenberch will probably be rotated for that no.6 role. Most games where we are expected to have longer bouts of possession then I expect to see Gravenberch who will offer more with the ball at his feet than Endo does. I expect to see Wataru starting the games where it's expected we'll have more defensive work to do.

In addition to that, I think that Endo will be brought on to close out most of our games even when Gravenberch starts.

We'll have to give them both time to adapt. Alexis and Dom have hit the ground running, but this is more of an exception than it is the rule. Our new midfielders usually take time to adapt and I think it will be the case with Wataru and Ryan.

Didn't see much of him yesterday. Is he one these players that goes under the radar all the time just providing cover. We don't know what Jürgen wants from him

I was disappointed with him tbh.

Gave ball away a lot, but he's still settling in and it was a makeshift team so not too fussed.

He looks like he has been bought in just to provide cover and rest for the main guys.

Sad that some are already writing him off after 90 mins worth of football

He will settle and be a good option

We all make quick decisions on players mate, you can't help it once you've watched a few games. Some keep them to themselves and some express them early. Personally, i'm completely underwhelmed thus far. Hope i'm wrong and he turns out to be a Klopp masterstroke but my initial impressions are he is not quick enough and not strong enough to be a starting 6 in the EPL. Now you could easily say the same for Thiago but of course, he has ridiculous technical ability and vision. I suspect it will be a commitee approach to the 6 role fromnow until January and then the club will try to rectifiy the mistake in the January window. Mac can do the role but my hope is that Bajcetic is given a few games because he has all the attributes (he's strong, he can cover a lot of ground, he has the touch to receive the ball with bodies around him, and good passing range) to grab the shirt and allow Mac to play further forward where he is more comfortable.
