Endo is well worth holding onto, making valuable contributions last season.

Sounds like he may be on his way out if you believe what David Lynch is saying (he really isn’t working for Slot’s plans/tactics). Can’t imagine he would be let go without a replacement though.

Or if as rumored, his International teammate Kubo is coming to Anfield.

You would think he would need a fellow countryman to help him acclimatize.

If people making bids they know there is a chance or wanting a move or not in favour . Funny that the decision to reject was weeks ago but only leaked now . Doesn't seem to be part of Slots long term plans so will have to see

It'd be silly to get rid of him now, a valuable squad player on minimal wages and isn't the type to kick up a fuss when he's not playing.....basically the perfect squad player to compliment a better, younger up and coming DM but no it's got to be 1 in 1 out with us.

Ederson (regular), Endo (rotate), Baj (developing but also rotate)

That's how it should be, we play 50 games a season.......all 3 would get significant game time (IF they remain injury free).

Kubo is not coming. That was some fake rumour, he doesn't even suit the way we play.

I would not let him go, but as noted above maybe he's not gonna get much gametime.

      Interesting anyway.

Can’t see him going for a low price but if a decent offer came in then I think he may go

He is a solid experienced pro that is always useful

Isn't Slot playing with a double pivot in midfield? Didn't Mac play that under DeZerbi? That could be why Endo isn't really going to fit in. Maybe Mac just needs a partner and away we go?

      I’d keep Wartaru.

He’s useful in the sense of a squad player, certainly. Think if he goes we will only make one signing this summer.

(And if he stays we won’t sign any one!)

Wouldn't sell him even if we sign another DM. Still wouldn't even completely rule him out as a first choice, but a very useful squad player at the very least.

I hope that I am completely wrong, he is more a Klopp type of midfielders were he gives the ball to other to create something while destroying the opponent's attack rather Slot type of midfielder were they are comfortable on the ball and have an eye for forward pass.

I may be wrong about this too, I think that he will be sold next Summer and Bajectic will take his place since he can play with the ball.

You can see with the way Slot builds up play from the back with the way the CB’s play vertical passes to the midfielders in tight positions and why Endo is completely unsuited to that role, he doesn’t have the ability to take those sort of balls and turn with the ball.

Still a decent squad player to close out games and give the first teamers a breather.

Aye he'll do a job in the squad this season but I'd say he'll be sold next summer.

Arne is going to have to find a way in for these players otherwise if he just sticks to the same 13-14 players all season, then he's in for a rude awakening.
