when people are desperate they're easy to take advantage of. If reports are right and they will go ALL OUT, you put it to the test. What's the worse that can happen? They say no. Set your price and don't budge. And your price should he huge.

Worked out well when we did it with Couthinho. But again, you only do a deal like this with total backing that you can achieve what you want before the window closes and you can properly reinvest all the proceeds. We will have to over pay more than likely, so shoot your shot and line your pockets before hand

If they turn Salah’s head, and he does love the money, Jürgen has already said he won’t get in the way of a player who wants to leave.

By not qualifying for the CL last season we've become easy prey.

Love the money? What if he wants to be the face of the Middle East? Being an Arab and all. What if he wants to play there and boost the profile of Middle East football? You should give him more respect.

No one can replace him is available in the market. Mbappe will reject us for Madrid, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia maybe ? But no way Napoli sell him this summer.

He can do all that next summer.

Doesn’t speak too well of a player if he decides to force a move this close to the deadline.

I expect the team to turn down offers but can Salah do the same or will he pull a Henderson?

What if Al Ittihad have said we want you now. You're not in the Champions League. Your owners have not equipped your team to win the league. It hasn't been the summer rebuild you expected and was told it would be. Come secure your Arab legacy now

Saudi going for our Title winning team.

Mane, Firmino, Fabinho and Henderson all there. Salah possibly.

Get your hopes up folks - a 300 million pound bid is coming in for Joe Gomez.

Offer seems to be around 90m from various reports for a 31 year old

Seems too good to turn down but can we buy anyone at this stage ?

      Without poor structure, it’s doubtful

The club won’t entertain any sort of offer around that mark.

And I also suspect that Salah and his agent aren’t interested in going just yet

I said earlier in the window that if we received massive offers for Moe and/or VVD that I'd sell both.  We need to rebuild and are unlikely to win anything of note for the next 1-3 years.  The sooner er we can build a good, young core that can be together for the next 6-8 years, the faster we will be back to competing for meaningful trophies.

That said, if they can afford to offer players 100M in wages, then they can afford a 150M - 200M transfer fee for the best Arabic player in the world.  Hold out for that and have a few players lined up to get in before the end of the month.

Not a chance. You simply don't sell your best player with days left of the window. In future who knows but Mo will be with us for the season.

Coincidence that this speculation is ramping up days before we go to play PIF owned Newcastle?

Mo Salah will not travel to Newcastle with the rest of the Liverpool squad this weekend as his head isn't in the right place thanks to the rumours surrounding his future.

      Cue the internet meltdown.
