………too early I believe for Gravenberch , and I think Bajcetic will get his first outing, pushing Macca forward to a more familiar position, Jota coming back injury free will give him his slot up the middle although I’m tempted to play Nunez there, Mo & Diaz are shoe in starts, hopefully Konate is back and he’ll partner Gomez at the back, I’m loving the headaches having a plethora of choices from midfield gives us, meaning we can be very difficult to read, anyone on the bench should think themselves unlucky not to start, and that’s a very good sign of a very good side emerging ??

Darwin only lasted until half time with muscular issues so must be a doubt for Saturday. Think Gakpo will start . Diaz and Mac also played lots of minutes and factoring in travel and altitude etc may also not start

Regardless of the minutes played by each, all four will be involved with their countries on away trips late into Tuesday night or the early hours of Wednesday morning - Mac Allister on duty for Argentina in Bolivia, Nunez with Uruguay in Ecuador, Alisson required by Brazil in Peru and Diaz with Colombia in Chile.

Diaz has the longest trip back to Merseyside of around 7,200 miles. Alisson will travel 6,250 miles while Mac Allister has only a handful of miles fewer. Nunez has the comparatively short distance of 5,600 miles with which to contend.

Not for the first time, Klopp's chief worry will be in what state his South American squad members return to Merseyside. The clock is already ticking.
