Jarell Quansah makes his first competitive start for Liverpool in today’s lunchtime encounter with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The centre-back comes into the Reds’ defence at Molineux, with Trent Alexander-Arnold (hamstring) and Virgil van Dijk (suspension) ruled out and Ibrahima Konate on the bench after recovering from injury.

Ryan Gravenberch is named on the bench, while Andy Robertson wears the captain's armband.

With an abundance of talent across the squad there's real competition for a starting place. Curtis needs to make something happen today, it's alright being neat and tidy, but I'd like to see him find another gear and add a bit more threat.

I don’t blame neutrals for doubting us, it’s simple we are an unknown, nobody knows our midfield so they are judging us by last season and in turn arsenal have a more settled squad

But despite what arsenal claim to be, I truly believe we are better attacking wise and even in our defence but I do believe arsenal may have the edge in midfield but we will see

Need to end the 1230 curse and need to make up for what was the worst performance of last season for me at their place.
