Do people really believe that City is going to win every game? The chances of that are slim. They are going to drop points and they may very well drop 3 to us (which will be like 6). Don't think there's any reason to panic. Pressure is on them because right now we've not been beat when we have 11 men on the pitch.

City are our main competitor not Arsenal, we beat City and we can take the initiative again and then it is up to us to do the rest.

Arsenal will have moments where injuries crop up as they have with us and City, so honestly think while we gave up ground to City we can make it up if we beat them.

City won't win every game I don't think. Their form this season doesn't suggest they're as anywhere near consistent as they have been previously.

I think those without hope in their hearts will be assuming that City will win all their games including our head to head with them. The conclusion is that we have already lost the league. Even if our head to head ends in a draw, City would walk away with the title.

So for those without any hope, just give up now… just as many did at HT in Istanbul, while the rest of us walk on. And so if we do win it, come back and join us in celebrating. Will be here to listen to you say “see, I knew we’d win it.”

But there are fans who think perhaps we might not pip City to the title, that's their prerogative....it doesn't mean they are any less of a supporter than you pronounce yourself to be...We all hope, and want for the same thing....Liverpool FC success.

The question is will we match/better City's run, I'm not sure it's a tough ask and City chew through the wins year after year at this stage...that said I'm not unhappy with where we are, we've had a complete midfield rebuild and been racked with injuries.
I'm certainly not writing us off for the league for one moment, I'd pretty much give anything for us to win the league BUT if for instance we made the top four, won the League Cup and the Europa League (a comp Klopp hasn't won) I'd be made up still certainly after last season.

The media obsession with City is just repetitious, boring and lazy. It doesn't get to me, I just ignore it, treating it with the contempt it deserves. We're all different, fair enough you are irritated by it, whereas I just let it sail over my head as mindless drivel.

We can safely say that if we win it, the opinion is that City made a mistake. But if they win it, it was expected and an obvious outcome.

It’s like when Michael Phelps lost the 200m fly gold to Chad le Clos at the 2012 London Olympics. It was MP who made a mistake and not how good Chad’s strong finishing was.
