      Just home from the game.

What is there to say really. 3 points but just the same old problems. Just listened to klopps presser. I'm sick of him saying we didn't defend the moments well or the Situations well. It's every f*cking week Jürgen we don't defend well. Because the personal Just are not upto it. Its not an accident.

I said half time how it's so much easier to judge how a team plays when in the stadium both with and without the ball. We were lazy defensively today. There was an arrogance about the team. An arrogance that stank of we don't have to challenge and we don't have to track runners and this lot will just roll over for us.

Trent is a total liability at right back. But he's such a wonderful footballer. Put him in midfield. He can be the engine ... he can score and create more goals and he can drive this team forward. And get a right back who can defend, wants to defend and maybe we can be more of a unit at the back.

It's not just the full backs though ... we were poor in the middle today. Same as most weeks. The defence needs a upgrade if we want to challenge for the top.

Nunez was nunez today. Doesn't seem to have a clue what offside is or how to make a run. And couldn't finish if his life depended on it. He was poor ... no 2 ways about it. We missed Jota today and Gakpo should have started.

Overall it was a poor performance where we got out of jail. Nobody could have argued if Fulham had won that. The least they deserved was a point. The were a unit at the back, organised and clinical up top. They're not a good team but we made them look like one.

Endo ... did ok the other night and did the business today. You spent 16m on the captain of Japan Jürgen ... a no6. Maybe an idea to give the lad a chance. Were so open ... easy to create against and it just isn't working with Mac at 6. Could it be any worse with Endo?

Sheffield United will be just as dogged on Wednesday. Our away form is poor. No clean sheets all season away from home. Play like this and that won't change.

To finish on a positive ... 3 welcome points . United spurs and Brighton lost. Villa drew. Our CL position got a little stronger because make no mistake as this squad stands it isn't competing for the title in my opinion.

Spurs drew with City. Good Post..

It’s kind of a deflection in a weird way but fair enough. We can see why it wasn’t given.

If it was on target it wouldn't have needed to go in off the keeper so it's technically correct even if it's a ballache for Trent.

Yea BBC have a good angle of it, it does bounce back out off the u/s of bar, and smack goalie off head/back, very hard to see at full speed.

I don't think Kelleher is ready as the boss claimed.

Same mistake on both first two goals. This could happen once but not twice. It's harsh, but it's the highest level. We are really close to being real title contenders and everything counts.

I hope he shows he's better that than.

I think again, we showed the midfield is an issue. We lack control and the ability to control the tempo and keep the ball. We just tried to rush forward as soon as we get the ball with a through ball if possible.

He'll learn from it. He's not totally blameless, the first goal comes from a band Trent pass,Matip fails to cut put the cross. So not all on Kelleher. I'd blame him for the 2nd more than the first. He seemed a bit slow to react.

Good three points keep us within touching distance with Arsenal.

Two cracking goals from Mac Allister and Endo. Didn't think Mac deserved to be taken off as thought he was actually having a good game.

Trent may have won the game with his goal, but Endo was superb when he came on and seemed to wrestle midfield back in control for us.

Nunez might get slagged for his finishing but his overall game is good. Without his quick thinking keeping the ball in and playing it back across goal you don't get your winner.

Go with Endo, Mac and Dom for the Sheff U game. He deserves a go. Endo works hard, great intensity to his play, He could be the catalyst to spark the mid into much higher pressing game. As we only up the tempo, seem to become mentality monsters when the chips are down. Need that fighting mentality from the off.

There’s no denying that it was a superb shot and it was well taken.

But imagine it was a goalmouth scramble and Darwin’s shot beats the keeper and hits the post before the ball bounces off the keeper’s back and goes into the goal. Surely this is a clear deflected goal from an unlucky bounce.

I guess the same principle applies - a slight or obvious deflection. Not that I’m advocating that the PGMOL has infallible principles.

If it didnt hit the goalie it wasnt going in, I was convinced it went straight in, but BBc had a great angle that showed it bounce out off bar and onto goalie.

I accept both your views, but what a shot from TAA, who is playing really well, being allowed to roam more, in his midfield role.

Think an own goal should only be called an own goal if the player attempts to play the ball (clear it, whatever) and they put it in the back of the net from their own movement/actions.

For a ball that bounces off a player or deflects off a player without them really knowing about it....I'm sorry that's a goal for the shooting player for me. (I know what the general rule is, I'm just saying it's dumb).

He is playing well, but we've failed miserably in covering the vacant space where he would have been normally. Shame we haven't countered that because it detracts from what Trent is achieving from the middle of the park.
