      Just home from the game.

What is there to say really. 3 points but just the same old problems. Just listened to klopps presser. I'm sick of him saying we didn't defend the moments well or the Situations well. It's every f*cking week Jürgen we don't defend well. Because the personal Just are not upto it. Its not an accident.

I said half time how it's so much easier to judge how a team plays when in the stadium both with and without the ball. We were lazy defensively today. There was an arrogance about the team. An arrogance that stank of we don't have to challenge and we don't have to track runners and this lot will just roll over for us.

Trent is a total liability at right back. But he's such a wonderful footballer. Put him in midfield. He can be the engine ... he can score and create more goals and he can drive this team forward. And get a right back who can defend, wants to defend and maybe we can be more of a unit at the back.

It's not just the full backs though ... we were poor in the middle today. Same as most weeks. The defence needs a upgrade if we want to challenge for the top.

Nunez was nunez today. Doesn't seem to have a clue what offside is or how to make a run. And couldn't finish if his life depended on it. He was poor ... no 2 ways about it. We missed Jota today and Gakpo should have started.

Overall it was a poor performance where we got out of jail. Nobody could have argued if Fulham had won that. The least they deserved was a point. The were a unit at the back, organised and clinical up top. They're not a good team but we made them look like one.

Endo ... did ok the other night and did the business today. You spent 16m on the captain of Japan Jürgen ... a no6. Maybe an idea to give the lad a chance. Were so open ... easy to create against and it just isn't working with Mac at 6. Could it be any worse with Endo?

Sheffield United will be just as dogged on Wednesday. Our away form is poor. No clean sheets all season away from home. Play like this and that won't change.

To finish on a positive ... 3 welcome points . United spurs and Brighton lost. Villa drew. Our CL position got a little stronger because make no mistake as this squad stands it isn't competing for the title in my opinion.

What happens when a striker who has missed his last 15 sitters doesn’t give up and keeps pulling the trigger at goal? What will happen. Anyone?

Well F**k me what a game to go to. I don’t manage to get to many but could have hardly picked a better game. Every goal an absolutely screamer - not seen the free kick back, apparently an own goal but still a beautiful hit. Can’t believe some folk left at 3-2 down. Shame they missed that. Won’t forget that for a long time.

Team at my hotel before the game as well which was a nice surprise. Now off on a night out in this beautiful city. Have a good night folks!

Listened to the game, agree with most fans, our defence a complete shambles. Although once again manage to stage a comeback soring more than we concede, but only just !

Fans at the game had value for money, but would they prefer a straight forward routine 2  0 win.

Not sure how many of the goals we concede come down our right side, but it seems like most of them. Was the same last season.
Would have bought a RB and moved TAA into the middle in the summer. Great footballer, but strength is not defensive, more going the other way.

And agree Endo must be pushing for a start, particularly with Szobo's form just at the moment. Would help to shore things up.

In saying all that we are 2nd :) incredible really Jürgen has managed that with pretty much a new midfield coming into this season.

Nunez will score plenty this season. Said he needs to be a bit calmer but he'll come good. Type of player you need to show confidence in.

Subs today. Joel injured, Konte on. Put Joe at full back, Trent,Endo and Cody in mid. No changes front 3. Boss full of praise for Endo. And I think he might start him with Macca and Szobo in mid. Let Endo play off the back 4. He has that intensity about his play. Graver and even Szobo have to up their game and press a lot more.

But we've been playing high almost since Klopp arrived. Now Trent is drifting inside puts us in a back 3 situation. It's risk reward to a degree. Problem is we have a new midfield and they haven't quite got the intensity. Also Nunez and indeed Diaz have to react when we lose possession. Look at City today, yes a draw but they react quicker than any other team when they lose possession.

So defend as a team with intensity.Press the play. If we don't the system we play will cost us.

Play a high line and with your full back inverted you simply have to react and press much harder

I agree with your assessment and so does probably Jürgen. He probably thought to have Baja to replace Fabinho but then things got complicated due to his injury and he could only get Endo in an emergency deal, just like Kabak when we had our CB crisis 2 years ago. Right now we look vulnerable defensively and Jürgen cannot do more than to hope it gets better by development from within. Losing Robbo, Thiago and Jota did not help either.

If Bajcetic comes back soon and reaches 100% asap, as well as Robbo, things might look better.

What a win guys. What a win. This will do more to our confidence then a 2-0 win.

Endo apart from a stunning shot, what a tackle at the 90th minute. He puts his feet where others won't. Play him on Wednesday with Dom and Mac.

Mac is growing massively to his role and Dom nerds to improve and show us his early form.

      Come on Reds.

Had to watch this on replay after I got home and luckily avoided seeing the result before I turned it on.

Crazy game but the type you have to win if you want to be champs. Certainly a whole lot of negatives I could dwell on but the positives outweighed them today. Think it was just a matter of being one of those days. I will say if Allison were playing I don’t think this games even close. So that’s a little worrying but nothing we can do about that, we have to play the hand we’ve been dealt.  Just keep finding ways to win, whether that’s ugly or pretty.

Some cracker goals today as well!!

We were at home and the boss has said before he sometimes doesn’t like playing with a proper 6 as it isn’t needed

Endo will play in the next game, hopefully we can get over the line but Sheffield should have low confidence

I think the biggest concern is our keeper situation, it felt like as long as they hit it on target, it was going in

      Really need Ali back

Well what can you say about THAT game  :D Newcastle 4-3 all over again !!

Made up for Mac, and to think some people on here thought he wasn't good enough, well he bloody well is and what a cracker of a goal, has to be a massive contender for goal of the season and Trent - what a player he is, he's really taking his role in the team as Vice Captain very seriously, the pressure is on him being the 'Scouser in the team' but he's revelling in the role.

Heart was in my mouth at times but the Kop played a very important part in getting us over the line as well as Jürgen's subs.

Overall happy with the result, well done boys and onto The Blades on Wednesday :scarf: :kop5cf8koxp6: :aaliverpool2xt1:

The own goal stat in itself is so puzzling. When does an opposing player purposely put the ball in his own net? Deflections happen, whether it goes off an opposing players foot or head and is still goes down a a own goal. Just don’t understand it sometimes.

Like the ice hockey standard. Goal is awarded to the last opposing player that touched it.

I mean TAA free kick smash is now a own goal cause it bounced off the goalie???

I think they look at whether it was headed into the net pre-deflection, and Trent’s was cleary going to bounce out.

I find your comments strange and quite irritating. You've just been to Anfield and watched the team win 4-3, a brilliant game with some stunning goals. For most fans it would be a dream day out, that would probably be 1 of the highlights of my year. But you don't come on here and celebrate, you write a big long moaning post with 1 grudging positive at the end.

Have a F***ing word with yourself. We are second in the league with a rebuilt team still trying to gel. Some people don't know when they are living the dream. Entitled arsehole.

Most of the criticism was fair today. We conceded 3...at home..and that fact alone is enough to have a pop. My nark was mostly the lack of intensity in the first half. We know teams will find space on Trent's side because half the time he's not there.

So we should be more alert and react with a bit more urgency. We do it when our blood is up and our mentality kicks in - we just need that fighting mentality to kick in a bit earlier. Won't be scoring worldies every week.

The other thing was the Boss took off Mac & Szobo on 65m and brought on Joe and Cody so Trent was a genuine midfielder. Must be an option the Boss is thinking of using on a more regular basis.

Wins a win. MOTM for me was Trent. Can't wait to get Allison back.
Should someone tell Szoboszlai to stop those terrible back heels that do nothing but give away the ball? Other than that we fought back and that's what title contenders do. Fulham played us tough and we got the 3pts. So....I'm good.
