January Transfer rumors?

What are the current rumors regarding January? I haven't seen anything concrete. Obviously we need a little more depth if we're going to make a true title charge. City will go on their typical undefeated run and Arsenal seem to be legit. I'm not concerned about Spurs. I think they got a good manager but they need more experience to truly compete.

I don't think we sign anyone honestly.

Not even sure what area we would try to improve? RB?

Would like to see CDM addressed with a full time replacement brought in. Also can see some CB activity if Matip is deemed out for the season where they would speed up whoever they have targeted to replace him in the summer, but not familiar with the severity of his injury.

Other than that, we are in really good shape.

Think we've got to go in for a centre back now given the Matip injury and Konate's fitness issues.

A top class DM would be helpful.

Those apparently in the know have said that Fulham could also be in looking for him in January.
Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Nothing to do with bajcetic I don't think. He's one for the future. Just after Xmas last year we played him regularly ... he couldn't handle it as he wasn't ready for it. His quality is clear but he's still growing and his body developing and we pushed him too much.

It's taken along time and he still isn't back. When he is I expect him to be used sparingly for the remainder of the season. I fully expect us to move for a first team ready DM in January. I don't think Jürgen sees endo as a fixture even medium term.

Not a clue whats happening, perhaps with matip out for the season, something may happen at CB.

Jota & Robbo fit again in January, that will be massive boost. Possibly Bajetic & Thiago, but there probably more like february before even close to match fitness.

That pretty much sums it up

They won’t sign a player just because Matip is injured - we should know by now that’s not how the club or Klopp works

I would say it is more how Klopp works.
Look at every emergency signing that the club has made.
Kabak and Melo being the most notable players.
Klopp found his own solutions.

If the player that Klopp wants is available the club will
try to get it done and if not wait.

Now that spectacularly backfired last season but the summer
shows enough to think that lessons have been learned there.
