January Transfer rumors?

I'm sure there is still some transfer freaks going mad on Twitter that we haven't bought anyone.

For me I'd much rather see the solution come from the youth ranks. As much as it's great to buy players like Salah, Virgil et al much more satisfying than a Trent or a Bradley makes a mark long term on the first team.

Having the likes of Trent, Jones, Quansah and Bradley in the squad must be a boost for the Academy lads.
That's what 8 1/2 years of stability and focused development under Klopp has done.
The young lads being in that environment at the AXA has made a huge difference too.

Hopefully that youth progression can continue under whoever comes in next and will no doubt be
part of the consideration about what happens next.

Why spend money on a right back and we have Dom who plays in the same role as Wirtz

How about we focus on getting Alonso first and then we can think about transfers for his team? 

People are talking as if we somehow already signed Alonso. That thing could get ugly real quick considering everybody will be looking at him. He'll have no shortage of suitors, including ones with bottomless pockets.

There was a lot of interest reported round about the time Gini joined and were looking for a winger....thankfully Sadio had that game where he ruined us and we pursued him instead.

Who knows, we're just another FC at the end of the day......I don't think you get to a stage in your life and suddenly turn to criminal activities like this without priors, nevermind one who's a current professional athlete. Maybe we dropped our interest when we identified a red flag.
