Whoever takes over this club needs to improve the forward line this summer. Danns looks a prospect to me. But outside of Mo and Diogo it needs looking at. All other bases look covered to me.

IMO Luis Diaz could be very useful even for our new manager. He always available, always work hard and has skillsets no other LFC players could provide.

Gonna be hard to improve a forward line that's already outscoring anyone else in Europe. How many times have we spoken about prospects, big difference between being a prospect and being a consistent out and out goal scoring option, he hasn't even shown he can score goals in the Prem so it's gonna be another few years at least.

Need to be careful what you wish for because sometimes it's a case of better the devil you know.....there isn't a plethora of attackers out there who'd come in and immediately get going scoring goals and also be that supply to others.....bearing in mind we're not just going to spend 300m on Mbappe and Osimhen.

All well and good having 3 Jota's in your front 3 who are all brilliant finishers.....but no good having any of them if there's no creativity around them and Jota is behind Salah Nunez and Diaz for creativity.

I'd be very surprised if we got 100m for Mo. Getting old, 1 year left of his contract and in poor form recently. I appreciate  that him being Egyptian and Muslim adds a premium but surely even the people running the Saudi league are not that rich/stupid.

I’d like to say you bottled it but I can’t. 

IMHO it’s down to the following…
(1) Squad not big enough to match the quality City have in depth.

(2) Klopps announcement got into the heads of the players and mentality knocked them for six.

(3) Poor finishing from Nunez and Diaz, especially the former.

All fair but I can acknowledge we bottled it.

Same circumstances got us in those great positions in the first place.

We dropped points when we were not expected too, to absolute sh*t Teams.

There’s a difference in bottling it and playing badly/poor. You were definitely the latter for me, so often sneaking results when you were playing poorly. Eventually it caught up with you, after the two United games I thought the writing was on the wall as it knocked what stuffing you had left out of you.

Our form went to sh*t at the wrong F***ing time. Bottled it for me.

The Arse bottled it last year and have come back better and stronger and well I hope they don't, but they just might win the F***ing thing!

Hope we can come back, next season and do what ever it takes (without cheating - cu*ts!!!) to go 2 places better. Gonna be a tough F***ing ask!

Yeah -- we outpunched our weight most of the season, but our luck eventually ran out.  I can't help but wonder "what if" regarding the game against Spurs where we were robbed of 3 points.  If we had that result, we may have just had enough left in the tank to see it through....
