He looked rusty with his passing. Matip will be missed for his calmness on the ball. However, his header clearances were top.

Endo is playing brilliantly and had a yellow almost all game. As all Japanese, he never give up and gives you everything he got.

Vvd is getting back to his best. Trent's boots are exceptional haha.

Maybe those cheap fouls led to the good stats?

I want you to keep getting at them aggressively but be cautious about doing so.

I want all out attack throughout the game but please defend and keep a clean sheet.

Darwin I want you to score but you know that your shooting is crap and if Mo can score please pass to him than take a shot.

How do you do these things?

Front three not clicking at the minute is a bit of a concern. Three league games since the international break and none of them have scored. The rest of the team have stepped up really well to cover for it but it's not sustainable so could really do with our attackers stepping it up starting at Palace.

Couldn't watch the game but reading the comments you'd think Konate had an absolute mare but he has apparently won 14/14 aerial duels. Virgil has won 4.

And Nunez got another assist. He has hit the woodwork more than an any other player, I remember Suarez had a similar stat, then all of a sudden, he was banging them in from everywhere.

Scrappy win against a struggling side, obviously not at our best, but the main thing 3 points. It is so nice to be above City in the table. Hope it remains that way by the end of the season

Maybe Salah will reach his target against Palace on Saturday, anyhow not long to wait.

Hard fought and not very pretty but aj important 3 points none the less. Our squad all of a sudden is starting to come under big pressure.

Was about working hard from 1 to 11 last night and the Palace game will be similar. We had over 76% possession but only created 2/3 chances. Nunez has the pace and aggression and is a vital force in these types battles. He showed great desire last night. I don't call him over missed chances. He will score plenty this season and his play is worth an extra 8 or so goals.

Thought it was a below par performance from us but 3 points any way they come will do for me ! Endo is growing into the 6 role and leaves Mac and Szobo to create , Mo was poor tonight by his high standards and rightly subbed ,Darwin always lights up the place with assists and is unpredictable , he will need to get his shooting better when Mo leaves for the Afcon cup soon

Fortunate to have midfielders who can score, when our forwards fail to hit the target. Darwin always a threat with his assist for Szobo who took his goal well.

Hard fought 3 points well deserved and will happily keep collecting the points whilst fraudiola's shity keeping dropping points!

Only seen the highlights, but wasn’t good viewing, dragged down to Championship level by a Championship club, but in all honesty we should be better than what we were, I think we’ll be like this now and again, were still in transition so we won’t be a well oiled machine just yet, one or two gremlins to take care of and a bit of fine tuning,

Expect of course the usual criticism for one or two especially Nunez and his apparent inability to finish off chances, I’m not too bothered tbh, simple fact is, he gets into positions to finish and perhaps more importantly he’s a major pain in the arse for any defensive unit, he does still have the odd brain fart in him, like kicking the ball away addressing to the yellow card count, just no need,  needs to chill a bit more.

Big up to former Liverpool under 23/21 player Jack Robinson now at Sheffield Utd for giving some sh*t to his own fans as he prepared to take a throw in on Wednesday for singing that feed the scousers crap.

WTF is Wilder whinging about. Claimed the Konate challenge on McAtee was a penalty. All Konate did was out stretch his arm and only made very minimal contact, McAtee then went to ground. It's a contact sport and can't give pens for every slight touch.

Also claimed Nunez fouled before crossing to Szobo to score, and should've got a second yellow. The Nunez challenge was a world class tackle and won the ball cleanly. We do our fair share of whinging over refs but the claims have to have a bit of substance, this by Wilder was whinging for the sake of it.
