      Guenther not renewed by Haas.

Wonder will he turn up somewhere else on the grid.

      Not in a million years.

Sensational news. Maybe a decision based more on sentiment but fascinating nonetheless. You suspect he might retire after 2025. One last journey, and with the most prized team in f1.

I'm delighted Keith. For the last 15 years I've dreamed of wanting Lewis in a Ferrari. For sure, it might only be 1 season and arguably comes 5/6 years late but you know what - he's done everything he needed to do and more and deserves the chance to drive out his career in the greatest team of them all.

It'd be fitting of him as well to link up with his boss from F3 and GP2 days, Fred Vasseur, and do it for one last time.

The driver market has been blown open for 2025.

Who will fill that Mercedes seat vacated by Lewis? Could Carlos go the other way? Been reading that young Antonelli could be a wildcard if he wows in F2 this year. What about Alonso? Albon? Lando seems a lot less likely now after signing a contract with McLaren...and there's a lot of good signs that staying at McLaren is the right choice.

So many decisions and it makes this 2024 season all the more fascinating.

I just wouldn’t know where to start with a replacement, so many options for them. All I do know is who ever it is won’t be as good as Hamilton.

Another Redbull procession I fear. And a carbon copy of last season in terms of teams, places possibly.

I'll probably stay tuned like and keep up to date but role on next season and Lewis in the Ferrari for a bit of a change up.

It's what happens when there's no competition at the front of the grid. Hard to hype things up when you already know who's going to win.

Would have been even more low key if Horner wasn't trying to shag an employee.

Likewise, still don’t thing Ferrari can catch Stappen though unless they improve car again. Certainly be close though with Lewis at the wheel as he’s still better than the two they already have.

So true. Don't ever remember domination like this. No way f1 can sell this aside from looking very poor for the sport. When Merc started dominating in 2014, at least they gave us an intra team battle with Nico and Lewis for a good couple of seasons.

All Max has to do is put his foot down gently and he's winning at a canter. You know it's bad when a driver as midfield like Perez is sweeping second places easily as well.

The outlandish number of races in a season means he's reaping in one year what many of the greats can't achieve in 5 years. One hell of a slog to capture people's attention.

Will the FIA intervene next season and impose regulation change which harms Red Bull more similar to what they did in 2005 with Ferrari and 2021 with Mercedes?

They have to surly? The sport is becoming a laughing stock and turning viewers away as it’s so boring. Formula 1 threads use to be so popular but now they’ve become boring because it’s no long entertaining for the neutrals.

Ps. You just know that daft kunt in the water going to respond with we wasn’t complaining when Lewis was doing it but under different circumstances. 😂
