Well, to be fair, two of the greatest club teams on the planet. Obviously we shade them. Both battled at the top for decades. None of this City, Chelsea,Newcastle, off the peg, bought and paid for 'teams'. Dubious funds, shady accountancy, manned by monied up mercenaries, supported by glory hunting instant fans.

We play United it's a genuine, long standing battle, no quarter asked, none given affair. Take them over the rest, any day of the week.

Meaning - Not in the picture or falling just short.

We are not good enough compared to City which will win it again. We you fall behind 0-1 pretty often and have like 2-3 games with miracle come from behind wins it tells you that you are lucky but not very good. This team is like 2017 but with luck. Still, it is a transitional season. Klopp integrated quite a couple of new boys and it looks as if he is away one decent dm plus more injury luck from being a real title contender again. That is what happens if you do not invest like City: you need more time, you have lows because of transition, you need luck on the injury front.

So you are basically saying we are not in the picture and top 4 is the best to expect.  Fair enough It is about opinions.

Still want Keith to answer it sounds better from a manc.

EXACTLY. I’d even say that if we get back Thiago or Baj and Robbo and Jota and do not lose any major players to injury from now on we might become serious title contenders.

Robbo shouldn't be too long we are expecting him back in January,  Jota is close.  Thiago for me any games we get from him will be like a gift have no expectation could be ready and gone just as quick.

You're right I don't know the lyric your talking about...so yes it went well and truly over my head. I stick to my point that criticism (Positive or negative) is always valid....and with the number of posts you have contributed over the years you must have thrown a fair amount of  sh*t at the players....after all they're only words and in context are utterly worthless.

      l o l. fair enough man.

My negative stuff is miniscule towards our players.

All good we move on. sorry for daft rant.

So we might have another of them finale seasons with a maybe a point or so in it. Them rocky like bouts with an opponent that his high on PED's all the way through, and we are going toe to toe giving it to them so much so that they are desperately taking PED's between F***ing rounds whilst the ref and the whole world watches yet no one does nothing.  We are back us against the world.

And rightly so, we are witnessing a season with 5 title contenders if you include spurs that were top a few weeks ago and Villa.  Even Shiite teams are picking draws from the big clubs.

This isn't the 90s when Fergie was competing against the kids of Arsenal!   :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
