Tell you what, when you’re needing goals, is it sensible to bring 2 forwards off? I get we needed control in the midfield, so bring one midfielder on, why did we need Jones as well? Regardless of how well Nunez or Diaz were playing, surely they are a bigger threat than Jones?

They did nothing, I agree jones is a poor player to bring on and some people know how I feel about him

But we needed control of the game, as when we went all out 4-2-4, we were about to lose it in the break

Performances have been poor for quite a while but we have sneaked wins so this was always likely to happen.

We just don’t know how to attack at the moment.

It is obvious when you look at xG and xGA. We did overperform so far. Today was like we are: good but not great.

      Good?

Thing is, for me, we have bigger issues than just, this Utd game. Apart from Spurs and Newcastle away, I think we've been poor all season. Thought Klopp got it wrong with the subs (both those he brought on and took off), and a lot of our new signings I fear, are just not up to it.  End of the day, Allison was the difference between it being 0-0 and 0-1. He made two big saves throughout the game where we struggled to get a shot on target.

When Kostas is your bright spark you are well and truly awful.

Kostas is playing very well covering for Robbo.

Only him and Virgil played well rest were average to awful.

I thought we improved with Trent in midfield, hope we can bring in a right back in January and move him to cm, would really free him up

      Spot on

Diaz and Nunez especially were fkn horrible but what’s Jones gonna do to help? He touched the ball once and passed it backwards.

Going 4 2 4 was a huge error from the boss but could see why he wanted to mix it up a little.

Salah Nunez and Diaz very poor especially the latter two and we miss Jota badly.

I honestly disagree with that we were aweful. We werent, they parked the bussed and we didnt have creativity enough to break their defence. So we ended up either taking shots outside the area or crosses.

Our players need space to perform well, both Luiz and Mo. They have pace, but when the game is slowed then they can struggle. Think this game was meant for someone like Thiago, someone who likes the ball on his feet and can find that pass. We are very good at how we play, and we have players for that. We need someone for plan B, someone who we can get from the bench.

Listen, if you're expecting to win any major trophies with Luis Diaz as one of your main men up front then you're a F***ing joker.

Questions as well to Nunez? Big game but fails big time. Maybe he can steer us towards three points every now and again but we need men who will steer us to silverware and I question whether he can do that.

Played out as I expected if we didn't score early just fizzing out us losing hope and them gaining hope. Back 5 did well enough Dom,Grav,Nunez,Mo poor . Diaz and Endo average . Just no link up and some poor passing and final ball.

Name one quality that Nunez has? I'm struggling. Can't shoot, can't stay onside, can't dribble then what is he good at then ?

Could have got more control with one change. Jones was never going to come on and change the game realistically, hence I stand by it that we should have kept one of Nunez/Diaz on.

We needed overlapping full back runs badly in the game, but we didn’t really have that until Gomez came on

      Robertson was missed badly today

Still, we are second and I’m sure the boss can work on it

I thought everyone of our 4 main attackers were really average today, strange for that to happen in a single game

Gapko was woeful when he came on

Most of Klopps changes were wrong.

I'd keep Gapko on the bench for a while too he's crap this season.

Weakest side United have played in years, and we can't put one past them..... Nunez and Diaz have been poor for a while now. Cody not much better. I'm terrified at the prospect of no Salah for a month
