Our injury list is growing bigger and bigger.. Diaz and Tsimikas joined that list against Arsenal. Worried about our bench, but think we will have enough to win here:

      Alisson

      Alexander-Arnold
      Konate
      Van Dijk (c)
      Gomez

      Szoboszlai
      Endo
      Jones

      Salah
      Gakpo
      Nunez

      Subs:

      Kelleher (GK)
      Bradley
      Quansah
      Chambers
      Gravenberch
      Elliott
      McConnell
      Clark
      Gordon

      Injured:

      Matip
      Robertson
      Tsimikas
      Mac Allister
      Thiago
      Bajcetic
      Diaz
      Jota
      Doak

Not much of a turnaround for this one front 3 picks itself.  Not sure Konate will.be risked going off recent game planning so Quansah may come in . Midfield may be tinkered with also crucial we get max points

So many players out of form and we are relying on vvd/Ali/Trent/Mo it seems to keep us going

Gapko needs to do something and jones and Harvey in midfield

Endo Jones Elliott in mid for me. Give Dom a break.

We are losing defenders again, hope we can stay healthy back there.

      NB: Team no longer available

I would rest Konate for Newcastle.

Our squad is reducing in number. Come on Greens.

Need a win away at Burnley on Boxing day, after dropping four points in our last two home games. Burnley do not look a bad side afrter beating Fulham yesterday.

Should be able to field a strong enough side to ensure a win, about time Nunez ended his barren spell, he certainly could do with a goal, from somewhere.

Sounds good to me, but ive gone for 0-2. Not that my predictions have been any good lately.

More important, just bring home the three points !

Injuries getting a bit of a joke now. Teams like Arsenal appearing seemingly unscathed and we have arguably half of our starting 11 out plus a few other regulars.

Hopefully start to see a few folk returning soon, it’s going to be much needed, especially since we’ll be losing Salah as well.

In a year of no CL stress where we could focus on the PL while City struggles, we get scr*wed by all these injuries. Imagine we‘d have most of the injured guys available then we‘d probably had 2-3 points more.  :f_wah: :f_steam: God hates us, probably since we scr*wed his plan to give Messi another CL final with Barca back then. Still, that was worth it. :P

I would pick stongest team possible, the players have until after the weekend to have a "rest". That means they do not play again until next year, if you understand my drift.

Despite Burnley being no pushovers, I have gone for a 3  1 win for the Reds.

All games are difficult if you keep changing your line up. See how we bossed arse, then lost a bit if rythm and cohesion with the changes, and let them get a foothold in the game again.
Just get the games won without underestimating the opposition.
Strongest available of in form healthy players. Get the game won, then rest one two or three. Just don’t the opposition any reason to raise their confidence .
Full on with full strength right from the off. We can’t aford to drop any more points.
Hopefully a resurgent bitters can do us a favour and get at least a draw off city, while we bag all three points.

We've still got a busy schedule for the next 2 weeks before we have a short winter break. Need to continue with a bit of squad rotation although that will be limited by all the injuries.

I think this should be 1 of the easier games for us. Burnley will probably attack us and have a high defensive line, leaving space for Mo, Nunsz and Diaz to exploit. Ideal scenario is that we score early, get 2 or 3 goal lead and can bring on 1 or 2 young lads for the last half hour.
But we can't be complacent, need to start strong.
