Tightly contested game. Could go Maca, Jones,Elliott in mid with Jota,Nunez,Diaz, up front. Not yet sold on Graver. Still finding his feet.

      1-1

Fair shout but I think we need Nunezeee's pace as we might deploy the counter attack a fair bit. Jota as well has pace.Elliott in mid adds a bit of extra energy as well as attacking threat. My line up:

      Ali, Trent..Quansah..VVD..Jom ez...Elliott..Mac..Jones ...Jota..Nunez..Diaz.

Comes at a shocking time for us this one.

Fulham in midweek the much bigger game for me.

Why would you expect that no disrespect here , but this is Arsenal in the cup compared to Fulham at home , he might save one but not both , that would be plain crazy

Why you get two shots at Fulham one at Arsenal , you can roll the dice a bit against Fulham not Arsenal

      I agree but doubtful.

Klopp already quoted saying he's going strong. Worry about Fulham after this game.

I feel with Arsenal struggling at present, we could snatch this tie, with a 2  1 win for the Reds.

This to keep us on track for a unique if unlikely quadruple, despite injuries and players missing through International duties.

Not sure why it would be “plain crazy” - got a lot of games coming up and players will be managed especially players that have just returned from injury - Fulham is a semi final and a chance to get the tie sorted early will also be a bonus

I think Klopp may g a little weaker than some of you are predicting. It would not surprise me if a couple of the youngr players started this one. We can ill afford to lose Gomez now so i wonder if Beck will get a start at LB. I'm interested to see if Elliot plays in midfield or whether he gets a shot at Salah's spot? I would certainly start with Nunez. Fingers crossedno further injuries becasue the squad suddenly looks a bit fin.

      NB: Team no longer available

I would rest Trent and Konate but for sure Trent will play.

                                     Alisson

      Trent          Quansah           Virg              Gomez

                                       Mac

                     Elliott                           Jones

              Diaz                Gakpo                  Jota

I'd swap Diaz and Jota around at times during the game ... see how it goes.

No chance I'd be playing Beck .... up against Saka. Not the game for him. He's been brought back as cover imo.

Darwin to come from the bench and use his pace against tiring legs.

      PL title > FA-Cup > EFL-Cup.

I hope Jürgen has this inner compass too and acts accordingly. I do not wanna see sh*t like when Jota got injured in an unimportant CL game, remember?

We're closer to winning the League Cup. If we beat them, we're are going long this season.

I’d keep Ali in goal for this one, and Kelleher in mid week game.
I’m sure about Diaz Gakpo or Nunez Jota to start.
I think Nunez Jota more likely to get us ahead, and will be more trouble for arse.
