Why you get two shots at Fulham one at Arsenal , you can roll the dice a bit against Fulham not Arsenal

      Fair enough logic.

To me the smart move is resting tomorrow and killing the semi final at Anfield on Wednesday but we’ll see.

      PL title > FA-Cup > EFL-Cup.

I hope Jürgen has this inner compass too and acts accordingly. I do not wanna see sh*t like when Jota got injured in an unimportant CL game, remember?

9 players in and around the first team played against USG in a dead rubber so not sure what your point is?

Yes at the start of the season the FA Cup > EFL Cup but when you're struck by injuries/international withdrawals and in the semi finals of the latter then your priority should change.

I'm sure not many will agree (including Jürgen) but for me the smart move is to rotate tomorrow and go hard and kill that semi final dead at Anfield on Wednesday.

Don't think we would usually go into an FA cup tie with Arsenal rotating too much. I'd be happy with a strong side and one that includes Nunez. It's the kind of game in the past that has been a bit wild and we need our wild man of Borneo in the thick of it.

Klopp will start the most suitable available players. No doubt about it.

Strong or weak, world class or academy, in form or out of form, the starters will be the most suitable players at kickoff and for that occasion.

There wouldn’t be a player starting that he thinks is a risk or is experimental. Klopp is not a joke. Or rather, he wouldn’t mess around.

                              Alisson
              Trent  Quansah Virgil Gomez
                    Elliot   Macca  Jones
                  Gakpo   Nunez    Diaz

Rotating the Six in front of the back 5 is key for us getting thru the Afcon walkabout, had to think hard on Jota or Nunez, went Nunez cos he scares the sh*te out of defenders, also I don’t think we’ll go gung ho at the emirates, we’ll play counter attack formation with the emphasis of not conceding,
We need to protect Jota so coming off the bench lessens the chances of him getting injured, can’t afford to lose him and Mo can we ?

Thought of Elliot in for Mo but it’s not the game to try it, perhaps Vs Fulham but we’ll see,

Might see one or two more academy hopefuls during this mini cup run, Quansah & Bacjetic making strides already, Bradley & Chalmers given minutes recently & a glimpse of Kaide too, so watch this space….

…..gobs***e Arteta will probably go strong as possible so I’m expecting a good battle, not sure how many of them go to the Afcon so I guess it could be who copes best without key players?

Tough one to call this, however I’ve had my Red tints re calibrated for Xmas and I’m up for a memorable win…..Mentally Monsters Vs the seasonal Bottlers…..

      2-3 The Monsters…..

And Keith can go F**k himself !!

We'll go strong for this one I'm pretty sure.

Couple younger players maybe but I'm expecting close to the strongest 11 we can put out.

Every game seems like a cup final nowadays, top of the league, Fulham in the semis on Wednesday, as well ads the Europa League. It should be a great 2nd half of the season for all Reds fans.

I am sure we can beat the gunners today, despite the absence of Mo.

5 days rest for most of the players he won't rest anyone today unless they have niggles.

So assume best team he can pick.

Like folk have suggested cup tie on Wednesday is first leg, so can afford some rotation in that game if needed.

Could be a cracker. Looking forward to it. They have some top players and it will be a real test. Battle from the first to the last kick. Obviously we don't park buses and we will take the game to them.

Looks like yer man David Coote is on VAR duty. Didn't give the Odegaard 'handball' Was on VAR duty for the Pickford lunge at VVD. I mean I'm sure he hasn't got the hump with us and we'll see how it goes today. John Brooks is ref.

Story making the rounds last few days was that Arteta was complaining to PGMOL over Saka being targeted and should get more protection from Refs. Turned out to be a scam story, but wouldn't be surprised if it was a concocted scam by Arsenal or someone connected to highlight the issue.

See how Ref John Brooks deals with tackles on Saka. Good player to be fair but Jomez is more than capable of dealing with him.

We clearly don’t need to concede in the first 5 again.
Hope we defend corners and set pieces with man for man matched for height.
We’ve got the pace to do them on the counter more often than we did in the league game, so let’s use it.
We were bossing that game but somehow let them back in it for 20 mins.
If they change formation to get on top, we’ve gotta counter that, not stay the same and get given the runaround.
      Think on your feet lads.
Stem the flow for 15 then impose ourselves and take over.
Gonna take a high tempo and fast feet. Also keeping our shooting boots on ! Make the chances pay !
Whoever starts up top, we’ll have a good bench to change it if we need/want to.
1-3 the red men for me.

Arsenal have got some talented players but a football team is more than the sum of its parts and we're a better team. Tough one to call and wouldn't be surprised to see it end in a draw....which if we're one goal behind (in the last minute) and pull it back feels like a win...alternatively, if we're one up and they get a late equaliser...it feels like a loss....Hopefully none of that happens and we batter the scummy bast*rds 4-0.

Note: Arsenal today wearing all white, dropping the red in an effort to bring awareness to the deeply troubling issue of juvenile knife crime.
Each and every young life lost is a tragedy and it is to the club's credit that they highlight it.

Do you really need to change a colour of a shirt to highlight it , it’s going on every day and perpetrators won’t stop because of a shirt , this country got soft on crime and it’s paying a heavy price , there’s no deterrent,
