I'll never have a pop at Nunez. He gives everything. Real Liverpool spirit. Box office. He'll play a vital role here. And the goals will come.

F***ing hell, what a sh*t game. Every one of their chances came through Konate didn’t they. Why the F**k does he keep letting the ball bounce and let the defender in. Schoolboy stuff that is.
Bradley done well, Gakpo, Nunez, Jota, Jones all decent but failing with the last ball. Diaz worked hard but once again to little effect.
If this is what we have to expect for the next six games, we’re in sh*t creek.

I suppose a wins a win but we have to learn to break through these defensive walls and prevent conceding sloppy goals.

Jones motm  and Gakpo and Nunez certainly changed the tempo when they came on.
Nice rest to recuperate and recharge the batteries now.
      Onwards and upwards.

Good lead to take to the cottage, I wasn’t at all surprised on our performance considering the players that were missing, have to give a lot of credit to Fulham they obviously had a game plan and it worked to a tee first half, in all honesty we could have been 2 or 3 down before we equalised and Fulham will be kicking themselves they didn’t at least earn a draw,

Massive shout out for young Connor Bradley, that young lad has excelled and for me was my motm, he was absolutely brilliant, and we all thought we’d struggle to find a like for like replacement for Trent and all the time he’s right here already, take a bow young man, that was outstanding, he just didn’t look out of place and what’s more looked like he’d played for years, very well played Son !!

Other stand outs were, Jota, Gomez 200, Gakpo & Elliot, not the best performance but enough for me to take us to Anfield South, won’t be easy by any stretch in the return leg but we can afford to suck up the inevitable onslaught and hit them in the brake,

Looking good for our first final of the season I’d say, Oh I love being a arrogant Cnut 🤣🤣

Their good on the counter. Bit of pace, bit more awareness and it could've been 2-2. We will have to be quicker to stop the feeder ball. They played it well all night. Willian is a player for sure.

This is not over obviously and if we don't stop the ball getting fed up quickly and defend their wide play better it will go down to the wire.

Really happy with that considering the early goal conceded. There is something special mentally about this team. Loving it.

In the same way you could say he got his starting line up wrong.

Who should have started then ?
Be interesting to see your starting lineup??

Would have started Nunez up front and although not a fan of him in midfield Gakpo because Fulham have a aggressive hard running team.

Nice week and a half off now. I'm hoping some players will be returning in that time. I know people appreciated the work done by Bradley but I wouldn't say hes ready for PL football.

If we can get either left back back then we can send Joe back onto the right and have Connor just in case.

Just wondering where Trent would be now had you been in charge back then, not giving the lad his league debut, Connor Bradley IS ready, as Trent was back then, you obviously don’t have the same faith as Jürgen, who incidentally has just said Connor was exceptional, and he was,
If the lad is ready to perform in a semi final first leg then he’s more than ready for the EPL !!

But maybe klopp was right to hold them back for last 30mins. When Fulham were knackered. Worked before I think. L o l

On the positive side, if Fulham have any aspirations to get to Wembley, they will have to open up a bit in the return.
That’s gonna suit us more than the 10 man wall.
We’ve just gotta play to our strengths and don’t concede early again !

One good run and nifty turn put him in but he dragged his shot just wide. To be fair this in and out, mostly out is not conducive so he gets the benefit from me.
