Final thought, there would never have been a right time for Jürgen Klopp to leave LFC.

With the re-build looking good, I was expecting him to be looking to commit for longer, this is a total shock.

Only just seen he told the club in November….

I think he wanted to leave in the summer but being the man he is he wanted to rebuild the club after last season's disaster so stuck it out for one more year. And because we've got back on track so quickly, he feels it's right for him to step down.

Just shows how great this man is.

He definitely didn't look himself last season, but fair play to the guy he will leave us in a much better position at the end of this summer than we were last summer.

Been a wonderful period with him as a manager.

What a disaster…I’m stunned. I have thought Jürgen looked tired in recent times. He deserves a break. Really hope the players drive in now and win the league for him.
