I could easily slag off the players, but up until a few hours ago, they have been up to the task all season.
Arsenal are a good side, young, aggressive, and playing with confidence. I said when we beat them 2-0 in the cup that it might work against us. They'd be out for revenge for sure, they'd want to smash us for beating them on their turf - no questions asked.
The sickening thing is, they didn't even have to be at their best today. We gave them 3 points on a plate. The first half for us was the worst I've seen for a long time, and as for the second-half calamities, I don't even know where to start. I know we were missing about four first-teamers, but I think Arsenal were, too. Or so I was told.
Not a single win against City, Arsenal, Spurs, or Utd this season. Looking ahead, we have City at home, Spurs at home, Utd and Everton, away. Could be worse.
Like I said earlier, we can lose today, City can win both their games in hand, but if we beat City at Anfield, we go 2 points clear, same games played. It's in City's hands but it is also still in our hands. But we cannot afford another debacle like today.
