      Saturday..3 o'clock kick off...must be a mistake.

Kompany..ex-City. Haven't made the impact I thought they might. 7 points off Luton who have a GIH on them. But need to put them away quickly with no drama's.

      4-0

      XI I'd go for (assuming Bradley and Szobo both unavailable);

Alisson Gomez Quansah Virgil Robbo Endo Mac Jones Diaz Nunez Jota

A solid 5-0 win which spells the end for alien head.

Obviously a must win game against struggling Burnley. A comfortable win for the Reds, in an unusual ko time nowadays 3.00 pm.

Aye, we're back down to the bones squad wise....there isn't really too much room for manoeuvre. New Dutch boys haven't staked a strong enough claim to start.....neither has Harvey, only question mark for me is will Klopp start Trent in defence over Robbo and keep Gomez at LB.

Don't think Bradley is available after his recent loss, and not sure Trent deserves a place after Sundays performance. Certainly Gakpo and Grav don't do it for me together, and I hear Szob is a doubt for 6 - 8 weeks as his injury was worse than first feared. Hope that's wrong as I thought he just had an illness.

Elliot might not be the best player we have, but he certainly gets about and pressures players into mistakes. Can't fault his effort, and it does create options for others.  All these injuries have left us with a right mixed bag. Don't think Jürgen selected the right starting 11 on Sunday but assume he's realised that it didn't work out by a country mile, and its a different starting 11 on Saturday !

This looks a decent option from what's available. Certainly good enough to beat Burnley 99 out of 100. Hope Jürgen sees it that way.

Problem with these games is sometimes the thought drifts in that the game is won before a ball is kicked. Usually called complacency. That could be an issue in this game. Starting too casual, players waiting for something rather than force it, make it happen.

First 10 minutes are an indication. Wouldn't bet against a lethargic start.

Wouldn't be too concerned, at home we usually get the job done and in pretty comfortable fashion without having to leave it all out on the pitch.

I actually think taking our time and starting slowly is part of our tactics, the result after 90mins if what counts not 45 so a lot of the time it plays out in our hands because teams can keep up the same energy levels.

If that is the case, the players need a kick up the backside. Burnley are fighting to avoid relegation.

Yes if we had players like Mario. But I don’t think that is the mood within the camp. Klopp says every game is difficult. It’s so stressful that he decided to leave. Besides we have leaders all over the team. The way VVD came out and took responsibility is far from us having a team of Marios and El Hadji Dioufs.

Can't wait to see Endo back in action we'll be more solid in midfield. Will also give Mac more licence to push forward.

I'm hoping for that but I'd say Endo maybe starts from the bench

Even if he came on at half time and that change moved Mac Allister forward.

Nothing would surprise me at this point. He finished the arsenal game didn't he? There are dozens of examples of our players finishing games only to miss the next one a week later and multiple after with injury not sustained in a game.

Maybe he just wasn't seen in the photos? Reality is that we are injury prone and Joe has suffered with that too. He's had a good run this season.

Let's wait till Saturday before we jump to conclusions.

But at this point I hold my breath after every game. Almost mentally in my head I'm thinking who will be mysteriously missing from the team sheet this week who finished the game last week.

Need to get back on track, beating Burnley by a few goals with a clean sheet, would be a decent start.
