Great to see Mo back. If he gets today Wednesday Thursday and Friday sessions with no reaction and feels good ... he starts.

Conor back and everybody wishes him well. Mo looking fit and ready. Jomez and Ali available so plenty of options. Pace could be the key and we have plenty. Tough pick between Mo, Diaz,Jota and Nunez.

Ali..Jomez..Konate..VVD. .Robbo...Endo..Macca..Jo nes..Nunez..Jota..Mo. Jota fox in the box, Mo and Nunez switch on the afterburners.

Mo, I  don’t think will start but if he did I’d go Diaz left Jota central & Mo right, then we could unleash the beast on the hour, Nunez,
It’s at the bac Jürgen has the real headache, Gomez has been imperious so it’s a bit harsh on him to leave him out altogether, Konate should be a shoe in too , Virgil is Captain and has not been his usual brilliant best of late, for me I’d rest him, controversial, maybe but we need every man as close to their optimum as possible for the run in,
Robbo has the armband he’s hit the ground running since his return, not so for Trent he was clearly not ready for his return and now we’re paying the price,
So for me I’d play a back 5 of….Alisson, Bradley, Konate, Gomez & Robbo, Endo, Macca & Jones in midfield, and Nunez, Jota & Diaz up top,
Like I said Virgil needs a wee break just to recharge his batteries, we have the tools to do it so let’s be smart and use them, this game for sure perhaps the next as well, then he’ll be fresh and raring for the final and beyond !!

Whatever way the Boss goes it will be battle. They can be hard nut to crack. Physical, set pieces, Toney can unsettle defenders. Boss might ease Conor back into it. The midfield can't loll about. Endo is always on high alert but all the front 6 will have to chip in.

Luton midweek is the time to rest Virgil & not before.

In tough away games like this he could be the difference between winning and not.

Tough choice between Gomez and Bradley here. For this one I'd go with Joey. Going forward I'd hope Bradley can make the position his own. From what I've seen so far ... not including the goals or assists, he just looks a quality right back at both ends of the pitch. Great attitude ... Great future ahead of him.

This and all other games are now 'Must Win'  So prepare yourselves for a bumpy ride. It's not just about availability, it's also attitude. I don't think anyone means to have a negative attitude, and they all probably put it all in. It just looks suspect sometimes if they can't impose themselves on a game.
It happens. Some times the ball just doesn't drop for you, but they gotta try and shake it off. Give their head a wobble and get stuck in.

We need to have the mentality monsters attitude again till the end of the season.

Having said that, I've still gone for 1-3 to the mighty RED MEN.

Do think we miss szob though.

Feels like we are vulnerable at the moment, bit of a make or break game in terms of momentum and mentality

Nothing matters now other than winning. City won at Brentford. So did Arsenal ... and so must we.

First game of the weekend so let's put a marker down and see how the others get on once we've gone 5 points clear.

Jota arms behind his back though......a sign of nerves. A man that knows his place in the team is not protected!!

Is this the clearest sign yet than we'll see Mo from the start!!  :o

As if it would be Jota getting dropped for Mo.

Him, Nunez and Mo is your starting forwards for Saturday.

they should have beat Arsenal and gave city a proper scare and opened them up loads of times.

we might have to settle for a draw here unless we can outscore them...tough tough game

Ali; Gomez, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Endo, Mac Allister, Jones; Salah, Jota, Nunez.

Just think this game suits Gomez a bit more than Bradley given Brentford's physicality.

      Hamstring for Alli?

Another month sidelined there I'd guess.

Definitely seem to get more than our fair share of injuries.

Kelleher has proven am able stand in though so shouldn't be the end of the world.

Tricky enough game but still one we should win.

Yea it's not this game though is it...we have City in 3 weeks. If he's not here for that we may have a problem.

We're going to have to fight like hell to win this. Early kick off, injuries, potentially tricky opponent. 2-1 to us. Bradley at RB, Mo on the bench to be introduced later in the game.
