Good win, played well, pity aboutthe injuries, shocking ref

I wouldn’t have complained if he’d given a pen against Robbo so I dunno why people are complaining?

Possibly because of the various challenges by theirs on ours with F**k all given.

Toney was looking for it anyway

Yeah I thought it was a pen as well. Diaz could have had one as well so cancels out.

That was the biggest threat from them - the diving and play acting.

I wrongly press Gravenberch haha for MoTm but it should have been Endo or Jota.

      What a fine by Nunez.

We are so unlucky with injuries.

I've tore my pcl in one knee and acl in the other. Neither really hurt, and with my PCL, I played basketball forb4 more weeks before getting it checked.

I have to imagine looking at that, Jota tore something. Best case would be a meniscus.

Jürgen seemed a bit down in the post match interview - think both the Jones and Jota injuries are serious ones.

No wonder he’s so deflated, takes the wind right out your sails. Fair play though to the squad who continue to do it week in week out (Arsenal game excluded), no matter what 11 we can field.

Yea. Lots of fouls for them, not soo many us. Klopp had a moan about it. But also think he was moaning because our players gave so many fouls away. Doh

Only caught the second half but my takeaways are:

      Huge 3 points
Dominant win against a team who has caused us major problems over the past two seasons.
Great to have Salah and Bradley back
Our link up play was very nice at times
Nunez scoring a cool chip was encouraging
Gravenberch was good from the bench
      Gakpo got himself a goal
Sucks to see Jota and Jones going off. Jota is a worry.
Every player did his job from what I saw

Yea. Minimum out few weeks I reckon for both.

Hopefully nunez is ok, taken off before his niggle got worse

they'll both be out for weeks id imagine. huge blows. Jota playing as well as he ever has for us. we now play every midweek. i said about 1 month ago we can do something special if we get some luck on the injury front. we're having F**k all.

I’m working on a torn meniscus right now, 8 months in and just now starting to be able to run again. I hope it’s not that for him.

Unfortunately Jota and Jones always seem to get long term injuries so we’re fu**ed. I’m gutted.

It’s prob best to wait until full assessment by the medical

It does show the strength in the squad to be up there despite the injuries

Don't know if it means anything their caught Jota limping, if he tore anything would he be walking ?. Comfortable win today after a ropey start. We should definitely had a pen in the first half. Second was a lot more comfortable once we went 3 up.

Think we will have to wait, fingers crossed it’s not too serious

Seemingly a very good win today, pity about the injuries. I did not see the game, so look forward to watching the highlights on MotD later.

I tore my PCL when I hyperextended my knee. Didn't hurt at all, but I felt a pop and a sort of grind. My knee gave out for a minute and I got up and walked away. Knee swole up but no pain. Played basketball for another month but my knee stayed stiff and swollen. Went to the Dr. and was told I did my ACL. MRI showed I tore my PCL.

With my ACL I again hyper extended my knee. Got up, ran after the perpetrators (foot pursuit). Knee swole up and I had minimum pain. No real range of motion like before though. MRI again and it showed I had a tear on my ACL. Both times I could walk though....

Went for Endo as MOTM , he was everywhere , breaking up play, passing and linking up , might have been Jota if he'd stayed on, terrific player ! Praise to every single player today , stand out was Nunez, Bradley Diaz , who were all on it today ,Kelleher  did his job well and was confident ...next game !
