How quickly ones hopes of picking up a relatively comfortable 3 points can go down the shi**er.

Kelleher Gomez Quansah Virgil Kostas Endo Mac Grav Salah Gakpo Diaz

Bradley Ibou Robbo Nunez rested for the final.

Ideally Mac and Mo will only play 60-70mins tops.

      If Mo is available ....

      Kellerher
      Bradley
      Gomez
      Virg
      Robbo

      Endo
      Mac
      Elliott

      Diaz
      Gakpo
      Salah

This is simply a game we can't afford to take our eye off.

Get it won and make alot of changes 2nd half.

Watched the second half of Luton V Man.U; Luton worked hard and had a lot of the ball, but not much quality going forward and they were wide open at the back on numerous occasions....the scoreline flattered them. Whatever team we put out we should be winning this one comfortably...especially at our place.

The way Utd set up also played into their hands, amd they still couldn't score. Utd sit back and allowed them to have the ball and then used Rashford and that jester looking kid to hit on the counter. Their keeper doesn't handle the counter press well either. He was bailed out after getting passed by on two occasions

It is fortunate the side seem to be able to provide goals from all positions at present, except from the keeper. It will be interesting who Jürgen Klopp has available, but as ever someone should come up with the goods and score, maybe 2  1 for the walking wounded.

Lot of youth on the bench. I hate that we have so many injuries, as I feel we need to rotate Macca and Diaz. Feel like they've been going HAM for a minute.

Hope Salah and Darwin aren't too hurt.

      I'd go Quansah too

This will be tougher than it looks, we took a while to dispatch Burnley. I can see this being the same kind of game especially with the injury's we now have. 3 1 with a bit of a struggle.

We did but you could say that about most teams we've faced this season home or away. We like to work our way slowly into games and then 2nd half is when we shift gears and get going.

Please just don’t underestimate these due to their league position. They could have had 4 before utd missed their chances.
Who ever starts needs to be on it from the off, not growing into the game. We do that and we could come unstuck !

I’m not going to lie, I feel this game on Wednesday is more important then our league cup final. I want #20 in the worst way, and to end Klopps time with us on the biggest high. We were robbed from celebrating in 2020, can’t even imagine the celebrations if we win #20.

The injuries will boost Luton. They might just come out thinking they can get at us early on and we'll need to be ready but also exploit their bravado. So they might chance their arm but stretch out a bit too far.

Get control, get a lead. hold it and keep control. 2-0.

Wednesday absolutely without a shadow of a doubt is the bigger game.....because it's the one we play next  ;)

From Wednesday 10pm onwards, that title will be passed onto the EFL cup final.

Hopefully Luton are more knackered than our lads having played on Sunday and put in a  lot of running vs the mancs. Our squad is so stretched and with the final on Sunday we could really do with an early goal, lots of possession and a comfortable win. But we are LFC so i imagine it won't go quite like that! Deffo makes sense to rotate a little but e.g bring Gomez in, maybe Quansah. In midfield I really don't understand how Gravenburch gets in ahead of Elliott. I hope Harvey starts our next two games.

      NB: Team no longer available

I would play in a fluid front line-up and a diamond.

I would not risk Mo or Nunez if they aren't 100% fit. I would rest Konate too. I would not risk Szoboszlai against Luton at all.

We need to just win and move on without no new injuries.

Easier said than done at the moment and for me the priority has to be the league at this point.

Have to say at this point I'm done thinking we're unlucky with injuries and I have to believe we must seriously look at what is going on within.

I think this could well be the time for someone from the academy (a forward) to step here and make themselves a hero, whether it be Danns, Koumas or someone else.

I hear Koumas and Kone-Doherty are pretty quick and score/assist a shedload for the u21s, would they be more useful to us in a front 3 to a Harvey?

Yes or Gordon....he naturally plays on the right doesn't he, I think he's been about with the u21s but not sure he quite has the rhythm or form as the others.
