Liverpool make five changes for this evening's Anfield encounter with Luton Town.

Joe Gomez and Jarell Quansah return in defence, while there are also starts for Harvey Elliott, Cody Gakpo and Ryan Gravenberch in the Premier League fixture.

Jürgen Klopp's message to fans tonight:

"As ever, a big part of this is the supporters. I cannot emphasise enough how much we will need you in the situation that we are in.

Salah rumours were true then, no Nunez either. In fact, we’ve got no bench at all really. Robbo can come in and make an impact. Kade Gordon in squad, good to see him back.

Please no injuries tonight. Get an early goal and boss it. Big game for Gravenburch. Time to show he belongs in this team.

Injury problems reflected in Jürgen's emphasis on the importance of the supporters. Hoping we can put in a disciplined performance here. We don't have much on the bench so keeping it tight will be as important as creating the chances to win the game. Hoping for a  performance from Grav who has a lot to prove.

It would be a good night for Gravenberch to prove himself when it really matters. Fair to say, I haven't been his biggest fan...hope he makes me look stupid and scores a brace.

Oops... forget to change my prediction... not quite sure we'll be getting a 4-1 win with those injuries...  but hey who knows!

The truth is my biggest worry tonight isn’t that we drop points it’s who we lose to injury.

Very weak bench. Need the lads who start to do the job. COYRs !!!
