Mmmh......I wanna say it seems familiar.

I want to say the end result is typically the same. We win.

Loved watching Jürgen's post match interview just now. He has a way of being very rational and focused about what we need to do in difficult situations whilst harnessing the power of the moment and the strength of spirit within the squad, made greater by a shared belief amongst the supporters.

We were wasteful in the opening period of the first half

Admittedly I missed the first half but was keenly following it on the stats and to be honest from the 'data' it looked like we were battering them.  Which the result ultimately proved.

As I get older I'm starting to trust the data a little bit more than the emotion, if that makes sense.  And that's why football clubs probably employ data scientists who get paid the big bucks.

The data says we were the better team in the first half and the much much better team in the second.

It reminded me of the fourth against Barca

I thought the same thing as it happened.  A quickly taken set piece catching the defense sleeping and a nice finish at the near post.  This one probably won't live as long in the memory though.  Still get chills every time I watch the "corner taken quickly" video!!!

F***ing hell - this team- this manager - wow

Don’t underestimate how important tonight is chaps

I actually think that the manner in which we win tonight will be more important than had we scored the first goal and strolled to victory.  There is so much confidence that the players will take from being able to overturn an early deficit with so many key players injured.  This will be the catalyst for us to kick on and win a hat-full of trophies between now and June!!

I was so pissed off going one down, as we seemed disjointed up top even though we had plenty of possession. It just didn’t look like we were gonna score if we played all night.
Second half, what a transformation 🤷‍♂️
All my worries swept away with Luton.
And it’s not just this result, after being so sceptic about our injuries and the side we had to field, to being 100% more confident for Sunday.
And that’s just me, the players must feel unbeatable whoever we play, and what ever eleven start.
Yeah, we do have bad days, but they’re few and far between.
Four is still on. We’re gonna take some stopping !

Aye that’s all that matters. I’ll take a subpar first half if it meant we come away with the 3 points everytime.

Don’t think the first goal for them was Kelleher’s fault, he saved it, just took a lucky rebound to the Luton town forwards head.

Any goalies out there agree / disagree?

Shout out to Robbo who looks back to full fitness, very sharp out there to nick the ball ahead of their player for Diaz’s goal and then again to pinch it off their player in build up to Harvey’s.

He could’ve done better and not let it go under his body, but the deflection off him could’ve fallen kindlier for him, Gomez a little late to react as well.

I think when we have to field teams like we are going to have to for a while you need to find other methods to score goals. Set pieces become vital and without that VVD header to get us on our way and settle everyone down you might not see the other goals.

A set play, quick throw in those were 2 different ways to score goals and turned the gane around. After that we played really well and scored 2 counter press goals.

We found a way and that's brilliant.

On to a cup final and I dont think any absentees are coming back for it. That brings Chelsea bang into the game.

Fine win with such a depleted squad of players available, there seems no stopping this side whoever turns out. Well done Reds !

I think we can all agree Bradley is now number 1 right back choice, he just fits the system perfectly.

Trent will have to share as sub or move into midfield - incredible options to have.

      I agree.

But its still early days for Connor at this level. Everything is going great for him on the pitch even after a horrible personal tragedy recently.

Along road ahead for him but I see it leading to great things.

Defensively he's solid. In the 1v1 he's solid. His positional sense and support of his cb inside him is great. We look a much better unit.

Going forward he's outstanding. Could have had 2 last night. And when needed he gets back in defensively.

Early days , there will be testing times ahead on the pitch ... CL next season ... doku in a few weeks time etc. But the signs are very good

Oops... forget to change my prediction... not quite sure we'll be getting a 4-1 win with those injuries...  :lmao: but hey who knows!

Hey ho you'd have got amazing odds with that prediction!

TAA will be straight back in there when he is fit

He won’t be sitting as a sub

It’s also worth noting that a lot of issues for us even came down his side yesterday including the goal

He is bright , energetic but he isn’t a patch on TaA on the ball

Think he could have done better the ball went through his legs but was unlucky with the rebound
