Pre-Match: Nottingham Forest v Liverpool Sat 2nd March 15:00 Kick Off
      Mar 01, 2024 04:04:01 pm
A trip to the City Ground awaits us tomorrow!

Klopp has said in his pre-match presser that Szobozslai and Nunez could return to the squad as they have returned to training yesterdsy. He said that Robbo and Endo are returning to training today after illness and ankle soreness respectively.

Salah will miss the game as will all the other injured players.

My guess for a line up would be this:

      Kelleher

      Bradley
      Konate
      Van Dijk (c)
      Robertson

      McConnell
      Gomez
      Mac Allister

      Elliott
      Gakpo
      Diaz

      Subs:

      Adrian (GK)
      Quansah
      Tsimikas
      Szoboszlai
      Endo
      Clark
      Nunez
      Danns
      Nyoni

      Injured:

      Alisson
      Alexander-Arnold
      Matip
      Thiago
      Jones
      Gravenberch
      Bajcetic
      Salah
      Jota
      Doak

Going for a 1-4 victory for us.

They sacked Steve Cooper when they were in 17th place..their still in 17th place, 4 pts clear of Luton, who have a game in hand.

Still should be difficult but even with our depleted squad we should be putting these away. 1-3.

Its not a ground we win at. They've some good players. It won't be easy.

But yes ... arsenal won there. And we must follow that will 3 points ourselves.

Totally different test away from home tomorrow given all the injuries.

Desperately need Endo and Robbo fit to start and a decent chunk of minutes out of Darwin.

we certainly can't rely on 4 or 5 kids to produce top quality performances every game, with their limited experience. Different opponents offer different challenges, and some they probably wouldn't have come up against before.
Just have to pray Jürgen  is just holding his cards close to his chest, and will surprise us with a stronger starting 11 than we expect.
I dearly hope so, as Forrest are no push overs at home. We need to be reasonably strong, or we might get a nasty shock.

Another tough game awaits us tomorrow. Hopefully pick up from Sundays and Wednesdays games momentum. We are the better team.

Weird. Back to 3:00 pm Sat ko and although I prefer that, it probably seems alien to our lads who always seem to get what alternative times/days are on offer🤷‍♂️

Shocking they made this game a Saturday 3pm KO, after playing sunday-wednesday this week. Should have been a Sunday game at worst

Oh god I hope so, it seems ages since they played.

Won't be easy this game and we'll probably go one down before we batter them in the second half  ;)

come on you mighty redmen, let's keep this amazing momentum up and get another 3 very important points.

They’re on a pretty horrid run at the moment whilst we’re just about staying afloat at the deep end.

Absolutely not seeing this as a guaranteed 3 points, not even close. I look at their squad and it’s stacked with talent, they are more then capable of hurting us and we can’t turn up anything less than 100%

Far as the team goes I can see Klopp going with something like; Kelleher Bradley Konate Virgil Robbo Endo Mac Clark Elliott Gakpo Diaz

What I hope he goes with (because I’m a selfish pr**k that knows nothing about managing/coaching a FC) Kelleher Bradley Konate Virgil Robbo Endo Szobo Mac Diaz Danns Nunez

I have my wife at hospital for monitoring due to complications to our second son almost giving birth prematurely so I will not be doing the Live Thread.

I would play Endo and Nunez but would leave Szobozslai on the bench only would use him if needed.

Really positive to hear the Nunez and Szobo may be on the bench. Would be a real bonus if Endo can be available also. If not, I think we’ll see Swiss Army Knife Gomez in the middle again with Bradley at RB.

I see that pov but if they're fit they need to play I think. 12 games left. We need to win them all. If Dom is OK to play I'd start him along with endo and nunez. Hopefully robbo starts too.
