Gomez playing again midfield. City have Stones all over the place but Joe is the better all round player. Danns might get on but can't rush him. Clark on debut. Slightly less pressure on mid players.

I don't for one second think it's true but fcuk me it feels like sometimes we make it more difficult than it needs to be.

Nunez and Dom trained Thursday and Friday. Endo and robbo trained yesterday yet only one of the 4 makes it. We're playing for a title at a ground we don't do well at and we need to push through.

Abit worried about origi to be honest. United contained him well enough but he looked dangerous. That midfield worries me too. Nothing against the lads in there ... but it concerns me. Southampton played through at will on Wednesday.

Hopefully we can be level in the 2nd half and bring on the 3 who are not starting and win the game.

Our competitors have/will win here. We can't afford not to. Clean sheet should be the foundation that leads to the 3 points.

Gomez in the 6 really worries me. He did his best against Southampton but the reality is he was awful.

Would love it to be Macca there, Gomez RB with Bradley RW and Elliott in midfield.
