If the ref had made the correct call in the first place which was an obvious foul on Konate there would be no bitching and crying . My guess is this has all come.about with the midweek FA cup decision that went against them seriously clutching here

Same decision was made in the first half when one of their players went down in their own box with a blow to the head. Ref restarted game with a drop ball to the keeper even though when Tierney stopped the game we were in possession.

Expect Everton celebrated our winner too..   ;D

I bet they never!! They'd prefer to get relegated than see us win the league.

As there wasn’t a head injury anyway it’s all bollocks. Just because Konate stayed down doesn’t mess he’d had a head injury. He collided with Kelleher and just fell awkwardly 🤷‍♂️

Let‘s just say this was a lucky gift. Equals out Tottenham, maybe our injury yoke. We need the week 1. to get Endo, Dom and Nunez back for 90min., 2. to get back Salah for at least one half and 3. to prepare properly for City because that very game will become our CL final this season: we win and we have a realistic shot for #20.

I’m sorry, we may hav been incorrectly awarded the ball but we lost possession of it before the goal. This is much ado about nothing. No different than the refs awarding a goal kick or throw in incorrectly and then a goal being scored after a passage of time.

Yep, all they had to do was boot it into row Z when they had repossession on the edge of their box. They didn't, the rest is history. Thanks for the 3 points sukkaz.....

Our CB’s were seriously F***ing impressive out there. Surprised Kelleher is getting more votes than them, I thought they kept him well protected, what saves did he have to make bar the Elanga one first half which was offside anyway?

Who the F**k gives a F**k how and when we score, it wasn’t pretty but we’re not here to look like a bride on her wedding day are we??
We got what we came for and that’s all that matters, winning ugly winning playing tantalising football is irrelevant, it’s 3 points in the bag and like what Billy said another game chalked off,

That goal for me has just won us the league, or at least is the point in this season when we look back and say that was the pivotal part, re- Trent’s goal against Leicester at the king power was when we won the league, he thundered that shot into the bottom left corner after racing the length of the pitch and celebrated by crossing his arms around his chest by the corner flag, who can forget that goal, I don’t cos that was the pivotal moment that season for me….

      Anyhoo,
It wasn’t looking good the whole game, but when young Danns clattered into their keeper I knew we’d get a winner, it added 4 or 5 mins on and that gave us enough time, 9+mins, and the rest is f***in history !!

Get in Redmen, played sh*te and still came away with the goodies,

Mutants used to do this on a regular basis when in their pomp, and make everyone else feel like sh*t bagging a last gas winner, we’ve done it ourselves this season once or twice and we might still do it again!!

Proper ugly win, but the points are beautiful 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

The rule is when the Ref stops play for a head injury, and gives the drop to the keeper the ball must be in the penalty area or the last touch in the area - in all other cases the drop should go to the player who last touched the ball when play is stopped.

Looks like Tierney didn't blow untill they had possession on our right. Konte was only slightly stunned. Looks like Tierney made a mistake or it could be he was looking at Konate so although he hadn't actually blown, he had in effect, stopped the game.

Comes down to interpretation and it's been said Tierney did the same thing to us.Head injury, we're in possession, Tierney looking at the injury, so momentarily from his point of view, the game is to all intents and purposes, stopped. Is a head injury so he then blows to indicate the game is stopped, and the keeper gets a dropped ball. As the ball was in the area when his attention was focused on the potential head injury.

Interpretation of the rules.Think Refs can do that in certain circumstances.

Eight to nine minutes of added is too much, it would never happen to another team except us…

Even then the whistle should have gone when the ball was cleared from the box, instead it played on and led to our goal…

Conspiracy theory to give this season to Jürgen and us because he’s leaving the league…

Fume, fume and more fume. Excuses upon excuses.

We create our own luck and need to work harder than anybody else. Nobody gave us second chances and they never will.

Let's be honest nobody will be more angry about getting the decision wrong than Tierney  himself. Fancy giving those scousers a break!

They were never going to mention that little incident  Andy As it simply doesn’t fit the narrative besides we can’t have the BBC giving a fair & balanced view can we?.

As I claimed earlier it comes down to when play was stopped and whether a whistle has to be blown or not. Players sometimes take quick free kicks without the whistle being blown. It's entirely possible that Tierney took his eye OFF the play to check Konate having a potential head injury.

So in effect the game stopped then, and Tierney blew a few seconds later. As the ball was in our area when Konate went down the correct decision is to give our keeper a drop ball. Tierney did exactly the same thing up the other end.

Obviously if we were on the end of such a decision we would be crying blue murder..

The corrupt thread would have gone into meltdown if it happened to you lot again 😂 Basically yet another big mistake about one of the worse refs in our league. The standard this year is worse than ever.
