Why Konate and Robbo were playing Thursday I dont think I'll ever know.

Not sure how we win today, not sure how we can keep the ball to be honest.

We will need Anfield to be white hot and for City to crumble.

Its a long shot. This isn't Chelsea today. City could really hurt us today.

Got to manage our minutes better in the Europa League than we are at the moment. That has to be the lesson although for the life of me I cannot figure out how that wasn't already on our agenda.

City rested key players in a tournament that's a step up from ours.

We have a decent chance

Stay in the game until the 60th min and then bring on Salah, Robertson and gapko to go for it imo

Worried if I'm honest. Nothing against quansah. But you need your experience in these big games. Leaving Robertson out is bizarre ... to my eyes anyway. Not knocking anyone before people start kicking off ... but I'm flabbergasted. City will be licking their lips I think. Should have been Joey with Virg and Robbo at left back. Hes the best left back in the world.

As for Mo .... disappointed to be honest. But if he's not fully ready I understand it. I just want our best available out there while it's 0-0.

When you look at it like that, it’s absolutely crazy how unlucky we’ve been. This isn’t even the full extent of it, a few others who would definitely be around the squad are out injured too.

Still a good team out there and I fancy our chances but expect we might need to ride a lot of pressure.

No pace in that line up....I'd preferred Tsimikas in, and Gomez moving over to partner Van Dyke instead of Quansah....But it is what it is....Elliott needs some end product today. Salah held back, hopefully until not to late.

Yep. Our own worst enemy sometimes. Tsimikas was perfectly capable of playing Thursday and konate shouldn't have been out there. I said it Thursday, our u18s would have give sparta a game and only us would put that team out less than 72 hours before the biggest game of the season.

But as others have said ... its done now. This is the result of it and we will have to get on with it.

I agree. Seems strange that Tsimikas and Robbo are both on the bench.
I like Quansa but think Joe would be the stronger option for this game.
