I would rest Mac Allister and Szobozslai in midfield. If needed only I would use them. I would rest Salah and Darwin and VVD. I would rotate Robertson too.

A mixture of young and experience just to advance.

Fringe players with a 4/5 seniors onboard to start with heavyweight back up on the bench if needed. They need 4 unanswered goals to get to extra time....they showed they have enough about them to score 4 ( You could argue they should have scored 4 last week!)....
..too light a team would be inviting trouble. IMO

Got tickets for this with my daughter be nice to see some of the younger players in action and hopefully Mo will get more minutes before he starts Sunday .

Love the way you've lined the injured up as a team line up, that line up would in itself finish in top 5.

Diaz definitely need a rest.

Frankly, I'd play U21 + Adrian + Salah + Szobo, maybe Bajcetic if he's fit, so anyone who needs match practice and then bring guys like Nunez or Diaz for the last 20 min.

We don't wanna go too weak. Don't forget the chances they created but didn't finish. And their keeper didn't do himself justice on the night either.
I'm not saying they're gonna turn it around. Just don't give them an opportunity to get a foothold in the game. Always go strong enough to win it first.
If we are 2 up at half time, then rest the players who need it.

I mean it's dead as a dodo, but their a decent crew. Wasn't really a 5-1 scoreline. Kelleher made some great saves, when it was close, so they might want to prove something, show that they can play.

I know they can, and so does the Boss, and he's not going to take it for granted. Not going to go 100% full strength, but he won't be throwing a vastly inexperienced team out there. Some of the usual suspects will be on the bench, namely Diaz and Nunez.

One or two others but it'll be a competitive line up. 3ish...nil.

A do with Alonso could well be on the cards. A semi final for us at the least.I would say the same for Leverkusen. Still a few decent teams in it. Roma, West Ham and our old foes AC Milan. Few others. Should warm up a bit once we get SP out of the way.

4 goals clear in the tie means it doesn't matter whose between the sticks....Keepers are not often rested K. will play.

Will just be a case of managing the game, putting  enough quality out there to do the job, absolutely avoiding injuries and disciplinary issues. I would expect a few senior guys out there to guide the young ones and keep rhythm even if it's only 20-30 minutes here or there.

They could have scored 3 in the first half first leg. They've got nothing to lose being 4 goals down, so I expect them to come out blazing. They done us for pace, and will do again. If they've got their shooting boots on it could be quite tough. We don't need to take this for granted as being a stroll in the park.
 Start as strong as we dare. Get two goals or so up, then make changes if necessary.
Clearly not full strength, but don't over do the kids. Put too much expectation on them, and it goes pear shaped, it won't do their confidence any good.

Feel like we will strong lineup first half and if things are going well then sub some players at halftime. Do think Salah and Dom need some minutes so I would not be surprised to see them start and things go well take them off at halftime. Something like this we might see.

The tie won't be decided by what keeper plays tonight. Kelleher will almost definitely start...why wouldn't he...they don't get tired like outfield players...and the chance of injury is staggering low.
Even if Adrian was to play...do you suspect he's forgotten how to keep goal?...He an experienced keeper who trains every day.

Don't worry about it everything is going to be just fine!...As I say your preferred keeper Kelleher will be in goal anyway!
