Konate not being able to play back to back games is a real issue.

And now we have doubled down it and not played Gomez alongside Virg. As i said in the prematch, nothing against quansah, the boy is a player,  but Gomez, at this time , at 26 is a better centre half and for the life of me i dont understand why hes not partnering Virg and bringing his experience to the right side of our defence.

Lets see if we have the mentality of champions to win this.

Surprised Konate isn’t playing. Bradley/Quansah side does concern me slightly. I’d imagine they’ll target it like mad like Brighton.

Gomez has played left back all season. I’m assuming Klopp sees it as a bigger risk to throw him in at centre back. ‘Rhythm’ the word of the season.

Maybe he’s holding him back for laters,he can play anywhere across the back 4, we got Kostas covering for Robbo, but no one covering for Bradders, if he played Gomez with Virgil who covers for RB ??
