Liverpool 0-1 Crystal Palace: In game and Post Match discussion
      Apr 14, 2024 01:00:21 pm

Anfield is remembering the Hillsborough victims

      https://twitter.com/LFC/status/1779459612472750343

Liverpool FC Starting XI: Alisson, Endo, Van Dijk, Konate, Diaz, Nunez, Mac Allister, Salah, Jones, Robertson, Bradley.

Liverpool Subs: Kelleher, Gomez, Szoboszlai, Gakpo, Elliott, Jota, Gravenberch, Alexander-Arnold, Quansah.

Justice for the 97. You'll never walk alone. Fly high.

Alisson Becker returns for Liverpool in today's Premier League fixture with Crystal Palace.

The goalkeeper is named in the starting XI for the first time since February 4 after recovering from injury for the Anfield encounter.

In total, the Reds make five changes from the midweek defeat to Atalanta as Conor Bradley, Luis Diaz, Andy Robertson and Mohamed Salah also come back in.

We need to win heavily to put pressure on Arsenal. Come on Reds, it's time to amend last weeks double disaster.

Can't argue with that team, hope we get to see a good stint from Jota and an appearance from Trent.

I'm not content with the 1-0 win (a win is a win) nonsense that gets repeated.

I want a proper solid convincing victory by several goals. I want conviction, passion, and energy. I want us to fight for every ball, win battles all over the pitch, and gel as a team so we are one. Smooth passing, decisive attacks.

We need to pick up and play our very best. Then we repeat it again and again and smash every team in our path. Only that will do for me.

Good solid performance, clean sheet and score 3 or more and we’ll be a lot happier and up for the run in. Give us a lift going into Thursday’s match as well, we’ve got to keep believing! 🙏🙏🙏

Maybe start fast , like theyre hurting and get a goal or 2 ahead early. Imagine that eh.

Just dont start asleep again and concede at the start.

3 points a must. Would have started Jota today. Disappointed hes on the bench.

Crowd needs to wakey wakey today. So poor of late.

Spoiler alert for you - the game straight after one where you got smashed 3-0 by a bang average Italian side at home will not be a pretty one.

Confidence will be at a real low today and Palace will fancy it so any sort of win really will do.

I agree mate. Have to say though abit harsh on atalanta. I thought they were very good. Faster, stronger, more disciplined, worked harder both with and without the ball, rock solid at the back and clinical up top. They played well.

I'm beginning to think, but hoping it's not the case, that Klopp's imminent departure is starting to impact on team performance. We need them to play for each other more now, than for Klopp if that makes sense 🤔 COYR, do this for the team and us.
