Don't know about putting Trent in the side , thought he was really poor when he came on against Palace I'd also go for a front 4 Nunez, Jota , Diaz and Gakpo with Mo as a sub ,just feel we need a bit more physicality and Gakpo gives us that

Honestly, I would be happy with a great effort from the boys, from start to finish, then build on that effort to finish out the rest of the season. Thats all I want. Can we overcome this 3-goal deficit, yes, we have the players who are capable, we just need the effort from them.

We need as many creative players on the pitch simultaneously that we can get away with, I think that means Trent Mac and Szobo all starting.

Good point on the physical aspect, helps Gakpo's been having some real good cameos lately. Stick him on the left side and go Jota/Nunez up top. Maybe see if Jota has a spare pair of boots he can lend Nunez.

My only concern is Szoboszlai is better from the right side but then so is Trent. Jones not up to speed yet to fill that left sided 8 so I'd go with the experience of Dom.

They will have the jitters early on as it's not easy to decide how to approach the game.They will definitely sit back and try to kill it so we have to go ALL OUT ATTACK.

It's a big if...but if we can get to within goal of drawing level,(with at least 30/40 minutes left) then we might see some jitters from them....otherwise they'll (as you say) just sit deep and try to nullify our constant attacks. That's what the vast majority of teams in their position would do. Our defence will need to be concentrated and alert, this can be challenging when for most of the game I suspect they won't be doing a lot of defending. We have to score 4 goals without reply to go through...or 3 to take it to pens...Not beyond us when playing well and firing on all cylinders...Anyway...we'll find out soon enough.

Me too, I truly believe we have a real chance to turn this around, would like to see Dann on the bench.
