Then he just needs to bring home the bread and butter.

He's got no hair and we don't care. Top of the league and makkngvyhe job look easy.

He's a step up from Klopp.

Easy mate. He has only been here 2 minutes. Klopp won everything. I do love Arne though.

Klopp still doesn't even make a dent on Kenny, Bob, Bill and Joe.

If you watch the way we play now is more akin to the 80s than the heavy metal footy which had us fu**ed by the end of March. (And the evidence is all there.)

Bob and shanks are in a league of their own. Klopp can stand with any other manager we have had imo.

Joe took over a great side and stayed 2 seasons. klopp took over a dreadful side and created one of the best and consistent teams ive ever seen and was cheated out of winning more.

Klopp is an all time great Liverpool manager. Only shanks and bob stand above him ... imo. You of course are entitled to see it differently.

      Bob and Bill above all

      Then Kenny and Joe

Kenny won multiple leagues including the double in his first season

Joe won the treble in his first season

      Then comes Klopp

I only remember Kenny and all the managers after him. I think Shankly and Paisley are the 2 best managers in our history. I would put Klopp at number 3, winning the league after so many years, giving confidence and belief to the players and fans after a good few near misses is a massive achievement.

All ifs and buts, but if Kenny had Europan football I think he might have equalled Bobs 3.

We were an unbelievable team under kenny. During our ban, and Im not 100% on this, Steau Porto and psv won the European cups 86 87 88, fair chance we win 2 if not 3 of them only for the ban

I would put Jürgen up with Bill and Bob. You can't underestimate the sheer effort, will power and energy that he put in to achieve what we did. Released the shackles which we had bound ourselves to for too long. It needed a forceful personality with the brains and the braun to push us back into orbit and he did it.

As I've said Kenny is third as it's not all down to what he did managing the club on the field, it's what he did off it, I don't discount everything you say about Klopp, but the weight of 89 on Kenny is one of the reasons he sits third.

Shanks built the foundations and made us champions and won us our first European silverware, he made us a bastion of invincibility in a era unseen in those times, Bob took the reins of a brilliant side and made us the envy of England & Europe,

He remains for me our best manager ever, the teams he built were simply outstanding, he was a tactical genius and could pick out individuals who were perfect for the football he wanted to play, Ray Kennedy being a prime example, he created for me our greatest midfield in Kennedy, Souness, Case & McDermott, 6 league titles & 3 European cups is testament to just how good we were under Bob….Joe Fagan another genius at work and very much understated, his short spell still brought us another European cups and most likely a second if it weren’t for the fact UEFA decided to hold a major European final in a dilapidated crumbling stadium and allowed the free flowing of tickets with little to no segregation of fans, but for Hysel I think Joe would have had more success…..then came the King and again would have won further European titles with yet another all conquering and arguably one of our best ever sides ever built…. Barnes, Beardsley, Rush, Hansen , Molby, Neale to name but a few , names that roll off the tongue…..Roy Evans built another great side and of course Hou Hou Hou let the dogs out Gerard Houlier brought us a unique treble, fantastic man, fantastic manager, RIP Gerard, …..Rafa, loved Rafa, and yet another Big Ears won with his hands tied and rivalry with that special Cnut Maureen the first of the Cheque book managers, …. Then the nearly man Rogers, close but no cigar….Woy who ??…..then the Messiah arrives and turns us from Doubters to Believers and a style of football that had Nuns creaming their Knickers, heavy metal in yer face F**k you football none of us will ever forget, Allez Allez Allez we won the f***in lot and we’re Robbed twice by artificial F**k pigs and incompetent idiots all in the name of so called fairness and another Cheque book manager with owners that cheat their way to success……And now we have Arne who’s story has just begun and what a start it has been…. so we wait and see what transpires as each page is turned and what it may contain and so far it’s been a fantastic read …… to be continued….

Arnie Slot would struggle with the players Klopp inherited, Klopp achieved the
Impossible, if it was not for small margins & a doped up team Klopp would have 3 PL & 3 CL titles.

Klopp has left behind a legacy, structure & mentality that Arnie benefits from today allowing him to project his own personality on the team.

Arnie had tipped his hat many a time this season to Klopp, this is Arnie’s team now.

Klopp didn’t win with the team he inherited

He started winning when top players were bought

      Alisson
      VVD
      Robbo
      Gini
      Fabinho
      Mane
      Mo
      Ox
      Shaqiri
      Keita

And the players that stayed from previous manager still cost a fair whack as well

Klopp was outstanding but he still spent over £900mil on players

He arrived in 2015 and took 4 years of bringing in players to start winning

Slot has won nothing and he’s a step up from Klopp apparently.

Let’s not forget Klopp inherited an absolute sh*t show. He also did the thing no recent top manager is done which is leave a great team for his successor. He could have easily walked away in the summer of 2023 when it was all going wrong but he stayed and built again.

He will have done an incredible job if he wins the title this season. Jürgen will have achieved larger points tallies though even in defeat so you have to factor in that City have collapsed this season.

What is the unknown with Arne is how he goes once the mainstays of this side move on.

I believe he has less say than Jürgen in recruitment so he will be reliant on the club to bring in the right players but ultimately he will be judged on how the rebuild goes.

Everything however is pointing to the fact that if given the tools this man can provide the outcomes.

I want to see how he deals with adversity, how he finesses things when we have injuries and/or when we hit a bad patch. More than that, I want to see Slot bring his own players in before judging him. It's looking great right now, but apart from finding Grav's place in the team, this is Klopp's team of players.

We do seem to have more control over games, which is down to Slot, and our injury problems haven't been as bad, but how much that is down to Slot and his team or just luck, is hard to tell.

Too early to compare Slot to managers in the past, although he has made a very promising start. Under FSG nobody could expect any more, simply hope the silverware, starts to roll in to mark the team's achievements under Arne Slot.

Everyone's quick to slag off FSG. No one prepared to actually praise them for getting the last two managerial appointments right.

This for me, together with the level of performance we eventually attained, which should and probably would have resulted in a greater trophy haul were it not for the financial doping of our closest rival, mean Klopp is one of the best we have ever had.

The joy he brought us was also a measure of his own personal connection with the club, city and supporters, and that makes it all the more difficult to understand why some in our support are so quick to downplay and minimise his time at the club now that he is gone and Arne is doing a good job.
