I like the way Arne's gone about things so far.
It would be interesting to have an insight into how he's changing things behind the scenes (training/diet etc). Clearly he's not going to carry any passengers (not that I think we've got any) and he's determined to stamp his authority on the side.
We can't win anything at this stage of the season, but we can lose the league and CL by dropping early points and so, in that respect, it's all heading in the right direction.
Yes, there are bigger tests to come and our lack of depth could come back and bite us in the face. For me, big questions marks remain about his over-reliance on that core 13/14 although, to be fair, he doesn't have much wiggle room, and the contracts for Trent, Mo and Virg, which I guess are out of his hands.
If we get the 3pts on Saturday then I'll consider it two sessions very successfully navigated: 9/10; which is not to be sniffed at when you look at the carnage that happened at Utd, Arsenal and Charlton after SAF, Wenger and Curbishley departed.
