Think I'd have taken Craig David over half of that. ;)

This could literally change by the day for me.

At this moment in time it's all a bit dark and moody for me hence the mood of the album

      1) I Wanna be Adored - The Stone Roses
      2) Colombia - Oasis
      3) Knocked Up - Kings of Leon
      4) Same Size Feet - Stereophonics
      5) Skinny Love - Bon Iver
      6) Harmony Hall - Vampire Weekend
      7) Time to Pretend - MGMT
8 ) Scar Tissue - Red Hot Chill Peppers
      9) Trouble - Ray LaMontagne
      10) Fake Plastic Trees - Radiohead
      11) Bittersweet Symphony - The Verve
      12) Oats in the Water - Ben Howard

      Happy now, ball bag?

Interesting to see Colombia chosen a couple of times already on this thread. An absolute landslide of sound. Definitely Maybe - a screamer of an album. Love it!

I went to the definitely maybe 30 year anniversary gig at the O2 London on the 6th and Columbia was fantastic! Absolute quality gig!

It's the definitive Oasis song for me.

I'm inclined to say Columbia as well. I'd say it's the song that captures the headiness of their pre fame club days before they went massive at the drop of a hat.

If I knew what she sang then maybe. But as I honestly couldn’t tell you a single song she sang then I’m afraid she’s not on the list.

This is superb DLS. Here's mine:

1 - Life is a Rollercoaster by Ronan Keating
2 - Dr Jones by Aqua
3 - Thank You by Dido
      4 - Colourblind by Darius
      5 - Reach by S Club 7
6 - Patience by Take That
7 - Wiseman by James Blunt
8 - Runaway by The Corrs
      9 - Year 3000 by Busted
10 - Complicated by Avril Lavigne
11 - I Really Like You by Carly Rae Jepsen
12 - I Want It That Way by Backstreet Boys

      Wall to wall, pure pop.

Certified banger choice: Life is a Rollercoaster. One hell of an album opener...heck there's not a hint of guilt from me so don't know what it's doing there. Blast it loud and clear. I'd have it on every list if I could. Was also going to include No Matter What by Boyzone but can't have Ronan Keating dominating the list.

I really like Thank You by Dido so I'm with you on that one but you're on your todd with S Club 7 mate - even if everyone sings it whenever they hear it.

And I've sang I Want It That Way on karaoke when me mate Lisa put me up for it.

Yeah - you know I mulled over putting Thank You there and it shouldn't really be there. It's a great song but she I remember a time when she was "unfashionable" and it was cool to slag her off. She was one the biggest female solo artist in the world at the turn of the century so she was a prime target but oddly in a way that you couldn't for someone like Adele despite me finding Adele utterly vain and anaemic (she's not even good enough to be on a guilty pleasure list for me). I've always liked Dido, liked her voice. Very melodic and she also released a great electronic album in 2019 with her brother Rollo Armstrong. Deserves more credit.

Think I only know Thank You and White Flag (another boss song in my opinion).

Our Becky (me elder sister) was getting into her teen punk phase around the turn of the century, so she didn't play much pop after 2000. Probably why I don't know much about pop music in the 21st Century. But I can give you a decent Bowling For Soup or Good Charlotte song.

I've decided to do Noel's songs because I realised the first five I'd picked were all him on lead.

      1 - Masterplan
2 - Where Did It All Go Wrong?
3 - Half The World Away
      4 - Talk Tonight
      5 - Sad Song
      6 - Flashbax
      7 - Little By Little
      8 - Idler's Dream
9 - Sitting Here In Silence
      10 - Sunday Morning Call
      11 - Mucky Fingers
      12 - Don't Look Back In Anger

      So I have to do a Liam on lead album;

      1 - Live Forever
      2 - Songbird
      3 - Don't Go Away
      4 - Supersonic
      5 - Hello
      6 - Morning Glory
      7 - Cast No Shadow
      8 - Hey Now
      9 - Round Are Way
      10 - Rockin' Chair
      11 - Some Might Say
12 - Stop Crying Your Heart Out

I love the fact that so many of Oasis's best songs were b sides. But the one I don't get being left off the album, largely because that particular album was crying out for it (...Shoulders Of Giants), is Let's All Make Believe. That's got one of Liam's most perfectly pitched vocals.

      4. Eddie Vedder (solo) - Invincible
