i like him a lot..... but i've read all summer he has no interest in leaving spain and plenty have tried this summer. Then again, if joyce has got it you'd  think we reckon we've a good chance. why the F**k would we leak it without knowing he would come?

Joyce is unlikely to want to burn any bridges, so I would suspect he has received an all-clear on putting that Tweet out and in turn I would say a deal is very close.....

Hence the excitement. Could I be wrong? So far off the mark that it's laughable? Of course I could - but we won't have to wait long to find out either way.....

Maybe Hughes got some hints from Zubimendi’s agent that he would be interested in a move to Liverpool, hence why we are interested in pursuing a deal

He’s turned down moves to other big clubs I believe. But maybe there wasn’t a clear path to starting at those clubs……I agree it would be odd for Joyce to make statements without it being close. Same with Ornstein.
