He's 25, just had a taste of success at the highest level with his country, and would surely fancy playing through his peak years with a club set up to win major trophies, just like his Basque compatriot did under Rafa. This is the kind of move that works for everyone -- please make it happen!

A lot of short passes in different areas of the pitch, snappy in the tackle, good balance, reads the game well and carries the ball with ease. He is like Mac in some ways but without the same ability in the forward areas. For what we'd be asking him to do we'd struggle to find better for the money.
