We can afford 1 bad game, Arne will learn not to be so naive again. This isn't the first underwhelming either these have played.

And so can other teams no one’s perfect all the time.

Sure but for sides that are highly raved about, they both looked very average today. That's all I was getting at.

That’s a corker from Barnes. They’ve been 2nd best for 75mins, barely looking like scoring and then get a deflected goal from nothing to start the turning of this game on it’s head.

Anyway I'd say the top 4 is already taking shape and probably that's how it'll be come end of May.

No room for Utd again  :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

You lot the only team not to win out of the top 8 pal 😉 and we’re only 3 points behind you 🤪🤪🤪

Great, and you're "only 4 points behind Arsenal", Leicester are only "4 points behind you"  :lmao:

We've already shown the gulf in class between us and the mancs, the gap will only get wider the more games are played, but of course you already know this.

Can assure you we'll be a lot closer to them than you will to us, like last season.

But whatever you mancs take comfort in nowadays I suppose.

Since when have I ever listen to the media? It’s not me who goes on all these media sites then copy & paste the sh*te on here. The place is littered with them. 🤷‍♂️

I go off my own mind set of what I think is right, obviously not always right but you know I’m always happy to put my money down on a opinion like I have again this year and said you won’t finish 3rd or better.

There’s far too many of you lot that read the dummy sites without me joining in, fcuk that.

You’re ignoring the fact that Arne has adopted the same underachieving side from last season, the same side decimated with injuries that was good enough to finish 3rd, we won’t have the same devastating injuries this season (hopefully) and we’ve already seen a improvement in performance albeit it’s still early doors,
Arse were bridesmaids and had no injuries of note they’ve lost Odegaard already plus one or two others long term,

City are for me slightly weaker and have ageing players holding their own at the moment but whether they can sustain it remains to be seen,
You’re a gambling man so you should recognise that the odds are/have changed and slightly favour us as a team that’s progressing more than the other two, we have less inhibitions for a start, where no one believes we will be challenging, new manager, new system , fresh ideas/methods to get used to players in different / new positions etc
Yet we’ve had one blip against Forest due to a international break and all the aftermath of those,

It’s no surprise that you think we’re worse off than last season, but you’re reasoning is because Jürgen’s no longer here, and yes we’ll miss his enthusiasm and his infectious positivity but those wonderful traits are about the man he is and he has now moved on,
But his players will still hold his positivity within the squad and will be enhanced by the newer fresher ideas that Arne brings, so I see none of the negative undertones that you hope to see,

You reckon we don’t finish in the top 3, I think it’s a given that we will, I’m just not sure yet in which order we will finish, but as sure as you Mancs will again be in mid table mediocrity, I think right now we’re where Arse were two seasons back, they bottled it as you well know, that won’t happen with us, we’re much better equipped not to !!

Have a nice mediocre season fucknuts, back to where you belong !! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

      With ease as well.

Stuck in work till 2 mate so haven’t been watching it, just keeping an eye on the beeb for the score.

In between dealing with pain in the arse customers of course.

Dunno mate. When I have watched them this season they’ve looked sh*t most of the time.

By the sounds of it, it’s more West Ham making them look good. And I wouldn’t be surprised to see Locatelli as one of the first managers sacked. Hammers fans are as bad as Newcastle when it comes to thinking they’ve got a god given right to be challenging for major honours and want managers sacked every couple of months if they’re not.

Most of what you’ve posted Billy we have already discussed so no need to go over that lot again. What I can’t work out with you and others is complaining about the international break. 🤦‍♂️ All the top teams that were in exactly the sam position as you lot all won, in fact you were the only team in the top 8 that lost so throwing the old one/two 🥊 doesn’t wash with me.

Agree with Arsenal though,  losing Odegaard is a big big loss and not one they can afford to be without long term due to the squad size being similar to you lot. Like wise re City older and weaker but!! It’s a big one! As long as they have that fcukin Haaland in the side they deserve to be favourites yet again to make it a five timer. 🤢

I’m still of the opinion you won’t finish top 3 but from your opening start understandable it now appears a tighter call than I originally thought, might cost me ÂŁ60 with you mother fcukers scousers and  wool packs of the forum. 😂

Like I said after United’s first two games (( regardless of results )) I’ve seen enough to be confident of a top 6 which obviously a improvement on last year so have to take that, beggars can’t be choosers mate. 😂

Ps… I’ll certainly take a bet than United won’t be mid table like you predict? I’ll take almost any bet United get top 6 if you’re up for it and not a pussy. ?

I’m well aware that the dreaded international breaks effect all those clubs players who participate, what I was alluding to is our momentum was broken because of the break, and being so early in the season players from all clubs are yet to reach their peak, including ours where the amount of travelling, matched with different time zones, and playing perhaps in differing systems to that of their clubs all contributed to the lacklustre performance, we were miles off the pace we began the season with, it sounds like I’m searching for excuses, but I’m simply stating facts, had we not had a international break we would not have lost that game, Simples !’

That’s because they’re best two teams in the league, asking for players to get injured though 🙄🙄🙄 not very nice.
