He seems to be actually dumb. Time and time again he's completely oblivious. It's so simple!

Was really frustrated as well at how he switched off as we went for the quick throw. He didn't seem to realise that we could even do the quick throw. The lad needs to get his head sorted, check the rules of the game, maybe watch a few YouTube videos and get it right. He's a quality player.. but shows no signs of intelligence.

All in all, the second game where I thought we looked in control. For the most part.

The only worry was that we cheaply lost the ball in midfield three times and not once did Brentford capitalise. Need to tighten that bit up.

Can only beat what's in front of you and that was a comfortable start to the season with 2 clean sheets. But there are much tougher teams to come and we still need to up our game and the aggression at Old Trafford next week. They are a shockingly bad side but they will be ready for the fight! Just look at how they screwed us over last season because of our own ineptitude and lack of desire. Worried that we are set for a repeat..

He does far better for Uruguay maybe we don't get the ball to him quickly enough. His two against Newcastle were early balls into pace. He certainly doesn't look happy on the bench but he is a different option

Good performance with some lovely individual moves. Crowd maybe still getting used to a bit more of a restrained performance, not so end to end as a typical Kloppesque game. It was a good performance though, comfortable win and could have had more goals.

Whole team played pretty well. Close for MOTM between Diaz and Grav. I thought the latter shaded it - didnt put a foot wrong and linked really well between defence and attack, started a lot of our moves with his agility on the half turn and intelligent passing.

Trent taking the hump at being subbed was interesting. He was indulged a bit by Jürgen in my opinion and maybe feels a bit entitled. Might be something Slot has to deal with but Trent needs to learn that he's got to accept the manager's decision.

1. They stop asking players about contracts. They're hardly likely to personally announce anything on Sky are they? Credit to Virg for handling an interview like he plays... smooth and in control.
2. No one loved Jürgen more than me but he isn't here now. Stop asking players to compare old with new.
3. Arne must be sick to death of being asked about Jürgen too. Stop it. Let him develop HIS team
