I understand it but I do wish
1. They stop asking players about contracts. They're hardly likely to personally announce anything on Sky are they? Credit to Virg for handling an interview like he plays... smooth and in control.
2. No one loved JĂŒrgen more than me but he isn't here now. Stop asking players to compare old with new.
3. Arne must be sick to death of being asked about JĂŒrgen too. Stop it. Let him develop HIS team
When we're winning games, they have to find something else to talk about.
As the last team this season to have a home league game, we had to wait until they couldn't find any other reason to delay it any longer. The atmosphere at home to Brentford is never that remarkable. They haven't scored here in 85 years, we do what we have to do, collect our three points, and then move on to the next test.
From my angle in the Main Stand, I was convinced Mo was well offside for the second goal, and didn't really celebrate until VAR gave the all clear. It's right that the goal be checked, but unfortunately in 2024 our ground still doesn't have the luxury of a screen to show us replays, a facility that most other grounds big and small, take for granted. I finally saw that there was nothing to worry about, several hours later. Would have liked another goal or two to put us top of the league, but a routine 2-0 win will do for now.
