Unless we are offloading a wide player, I cannot see this makes sense where we have more important places to stock up.

Thought he was off to Barca?

This would make sense to me.

Juve looking to offload for 15m, and he would be like another Shaqiri type. A perfect understudy for Salah and this signing would even allow us to rest him a bit more, being 32 now and not being able to play 50-60 games a season.

The injury record is of course a concern but he did only miss 5 games for Juve last season and 10 goals (9 in the league) is a pretty decent return.

If he’s available for £15m then maybe it’s not a bad idea after all.

Chiesa could be different though. His English is very good, which doesn't happen very often with Italian players.
At 15m, he could be a risk worth taking (and who knows, if Juventus really want him off their books, we might be able to lower the fee even more).

He’s already agreed terms with Barcelona and everyone is waiting for them to make an offer but they have to reduce their wage bill first

Made of glass and we don't have a great run with Italian players... would rather that money go towards a needed position to be honest, although if it does happen, at least it is only £15 million... even if he does come and it doesn't work out, I'd like to think we'd sell him for more than that.

Would be a great signing, can cover 2 or positions, and a steal at 15 million, Jesus weve got nesrly twice that for Carvalho!!

I loved him as a player a few years back when Italy won the Euros. Has been so unlucky with injuries though. Strange one if this happened

Looking at his stats , he was superb until the cruciate

Came back during the 22/23 season and had a few niggles


Last season

He missed 5 league games out of 38 and was their second top scorer being Valhovic

He would provide cover across the whole front 3

Has always wanted to play in the Prem


Looks like a great signing at the price

Was very good the euros before last. If he's recovered fully from his injuries he'd give us good cover for Mo and possibly also for Jota, who obviously is quite likely to miss a good few games.

At £15m looks a bit of a bargain. But really depends on the medical assessment. Would certainly be worth taking it as far as a medical if he's genuinely interested.

As I see it Harvey is our only cover for Salah, perhaps Jota can fill in on the right at times so at the prices mentioned I'm all for this. Hoping Arne's med staff and training can help with preventing injuries unlike previous years.

A huge risk signing him as he has not been the same player since his injury.
