      Carabao cup 2024 2025
      Aug 29, 2024 10:37:31 am
According to the BBC website Liverpool have been drawn at home to West Ham in the third round of the Carabao cup.
It will be interesting to see how the Reds go about this competition as current holders of the trophy.

Nice. Always good to hammer the Hammers. Had some good players down the years but in a London League, they'd probably be 4th behind the big 3.

Nice little pay day for Barrow at Stamford Bridge - they might even win

Nice to see something of a renaissance in the domestic cups, although maybe that's looking at it through rose-tinted glasses as we've won the last 3 out of 4; maybe too (I say through gritted teeth) it's partly due to Pep taking both seriously.

It'll be interesting to see how Arne sets about beating the Temple of Dildo, but there aren't many youth players left to give the seniors a rest.

We're the cup holders though, so we need to defend it - just hope the CL fixtures fall nicely around this one.

Always us haha. We go a 'difficult' draw compared to the teams that there are available.

That has to be the worst draw I've ever seen across the board.

Play the kids, we’ve won this about ten f***in times now so put it to bed for a season or two, let’s concentrate on the league that’s our bread & butter, everything else is a bonus including the CL, although it’s where the dollar is and our prestige needs a uplift, time we won it again me thinks,

Keep the domestics for nurturing the kids, whilst retaining a smattering of first teamers, we’re in a good place right now, so no need for unnecessary risks to major components, we need to remain as strong as possible for the league campaign and of course the CL, i dunno bout you guys but I got very good vibes about the path we’ll be treading with Arne, it just feels right somehow!!

      There's still an U21 squad.
Time to get them some minutes.
